This is a re-post from the Wrangler forum, but I think there are more diesels in Gladiators than Wranglers, so I thought I'd repeat my request here. Hope ya don't mind.
I have a 2022 diesel JLUR with 91,000 miles. I'm throwing a few codes that could be a clogged manifold or swirl valves. My warranty is good on the engine 'til 100,000, so I want to bring it in to a dealer with a GOOD diesel mechanic to check it out. Any recommendations in Washington State? Prefer south King County but willing to drive further for better service.
Codes - P026D, P200B, and P2D2E. It could be as simple as a chewed wire (chipmunks and mice) or as much as needing a new manifold etc. No noticeable loss of power, but the mileage is down a bit (averaging 23 to 24 mpg instead of normal 25 to 27 mpg).
I'll update y'all with the results. Thanks.

To far for you. My Jeep here in Reno has been spot on for all of my warranty and repairs.

Dang - I was just in Reno 3 weeks ago. I guess my timing was off once more.
I ended up going to Enumclaw Jeep (closest dealer to me). They were fantastic!. Walked in without an appointment. They had it diagnosed in a few hours. Risa was great to work with.
Turns out that it was the gunked up manifold. They are going to replace it under warranty. Still tough to believe it went bad that fast (91,000 miles). I don't baby it, but nor do I drive it like a stole it. I avoid idling, I allow the ESS to function as it choses, and it rarely sits for a day without driving. I'll try to get the parts when they're done so I can post photos of the build up.
At least it happened now rather than in 9,000 miles (when the warranty blows.). My timing seems to be improving.
Thanks for assist.

Hermiston, Oregon is the best for SE Washington. I just had my glow plug #3 got out. They are replacing under 100k warranty. I was shocked when they said it wasn't covered if mice chew on wire. I asked why would mice chew on wire, apparently Jeep and Ram use peanut oil in wire tubing/covering. By the way did you replace any of your glow plugs before you had the issue with manifold? I was reading that glow plugs going bad is a sign manifold is clogging up. Not sure if that's true.

On some wiring. The insulation is soy based.

Tonkin Hillsboro CJDR did the HPFP recall on both of our diesels. I was happy with the job.

CH Urness Motors fixed an oil leak under warranty on the wife's JLURD. Other than taking awhile to get parts, the service was good.

Both are a bit of drive from King Co.

Just to follow up with the results on this. They replaced the manifold, which included the swirl valves and MAP. Nothing else was "bad", so nothing else was replaced.
But, it's running good now with no leaks. Fairly easy swap it appears - just a few shop hours to get it done.
Thanks for the input.

I've been using Seattle Jeep in North Seattle since 2022. Their service department is kind and responsive. (Ask for Sage or Eliza.) All warranty standard service, mostly under warranty. I can't speak the diesel prowess of their mechanics. The service department is way better than the dealerships on the Eastside of Seattle -- couldn't ever get them to answer the phone or respond to inequiries. Only seem concerned with "sales."

By chance are you guys doing your own coolant change, or are you having shop do it? If so, how much are you paying?

I haven't done it yet, but I plan on doing a coolant change during my next service. I'll be doing it myself, so no price estimate for you.

Well if you have the engine block heater, don't forget to un screw that big bolt on the block behind the passenger wheel. Apparently that's the messy part of draining it. Why I really thought about paying someone.
