only on the stock bumpers. Easy fix. And when you get a new bumper, get one with additional backup lights.

@ShadowsPapa I owe you an apology. The Backstory: most all of us on my volunteer fire department use whats called a ZFlash. same company as the Tazer. on my old 2500 I had to use a Bypass harness to get around the security gateway. The Gladiator uses a different bypass than the 2500 or 4th gen 1500, basically looks like an OBD splitter with 2 extra wires for the Star block. the 5th gen Ram 1500 uses a rectangular block that looks identical to the Tazer, only difference is the USB connection is NOT present on the bypass.
When I got the gladiator, a buddy handed me his "bypass" from a 5th gen 1500.
I never even paid attention to it, just plugged it and the ZFlash in and was a happy camper because the flashy flashy lights worked like they did on my old trucks.

the other day in the drive through, I noticed that the 'Brake Hold' feature took effect.
when i got home, I looked under the drivers knee wall and lo and behold, its actually a Tazer.

I'm sorry for the confusion guys.

Yes,of course they do. It's just not as much a problem with the camera change, then with the addition of It racke backup lights. It's just not a problem on my 25.

Seems like the government, with all the other demands would have the backup cameras come on when signals are used. If for nothing else but get ignorant driver to USE TURN SIGNALS!
Honda does this on the civic, or they did a couple gens ago because of an engineered blind spot on the passenger side. When you turn your right blinker on, it takes over the whole radio and you cannot even turn down the audio when the blinker is on, let alone change input or even track, or even turn the audio OFF until the blinker is turned off, then there's a second delay before the screen goes back.

Can't believe people would rather rely on a distorted camera/screen than adjust their mirrors to the SAE standard, and actually look BEFORE moving and AFTER using a blinker. But what do I know, I only drive 20-35k a year, car, truck, or motorcycle. Heck a couple years I did 25k on a motorcycle, and another 20k in a car on top of that in the same year. I've never had an issue with blind spots, and I sold cars for a living, so you learn the blinds spots quick and how to overcome them.

For those wondering about SAE mirror standard:

SAE mirror adjustment make sense, a little too high in the ski for me but out to the washes on my Gladiators fenders and just as high as the headlights behind me. The rear view is also on the low center side. I have no need to watch the skies!

Troll the for sale ads here, and check amazon. I managed to get a NEW Tazer Mini on amazon for about $80 less than retail from any other vendor/direct from Zauto. Came in their box, with their security tape, and updated to the most recent firmware.

I will say, Zauto must have been offended because when I asked if that seller was authorized or their own, they just linked me to their own site/store for full retail and didn't actually answer the question.

Their customer service is hit or miss, but when they do reply it's pretty good...WHEN they reply. I waited 2 weeks before emailing again and they seemed to know they take a long time. The sad part: they haven't changed their biggest customer service complaint since they opened: responding to requests in a timely manner, if at all.

They do offer good stuff, and I plan to try more in the future. Mostly for those who either do SERIOUS mods, or are paranoid about vehicle theft (aka live in a bad area, or at least think they do).

Many companies won't support items bought through eBay or Amazon sellers. There is also a reason that stuff is so cheap....after what I've seen some go through with name brand electronics sold cheap, I'm wary.
Some also have agreements with resellers that they, as a company will not undercut their resellers so things will always be higher direct than from elsewhere.

I hear you, and I think that may have been a factor, but they also didn't care for the link to have the unauthorized seller flagged when I offered.
I considered returning it due to it possibly being counterfeit, but between the Zauto tape seal, everything was high quality and looked exactly like what I've seen on their site/authorized seller's sites.
Came up to date, took older firmware revisions, and complies with all other programming features they advertise, well I found something that is in the manual it doesn't do, but seems like they removed the feature at some point in the last couple years for everyone.
