Greetings. After having two XJs (1988, 1994), I wanted a pickup, so I got away from Jeeps. In 2023, I looked to replace my Canyon with another Canyon (AT4X), but the dealership botched the deal, so I set out to buy a Gladiator.

After seeing the Rubicon 4xe, I got a bright idea... Get the 4xe, let my wife get used to it, she'll take it and I'll get my Gladiator. We've been married now for over 40 years, but man did I miss that one. We later got her a Volvo XC40 which is surprisingly fun to drive.

So, I built out my Rubicon, wheeled it at Windrock, Land Between The Lakes, Hot Springs, eastern Kentucky, on our farms.

I haven't driven the Rubicon since December 30 when it failed the 68c Recall (still awaiting the new battery), and the ice/sleet/snow storm didn't go well with the 2wd Grand Cherokee loaner. I decided to light a candle instead of curse the darkness and got a 2025 Gladiator Mojave X almost exactly like I want it. I've had it over a week, absolutely love it. It's much better on the highway than my Rubicon, and just fine for my needs in the farms. It's not a farm truck, just what I use when I need to be on our farms.

I'll continue to wheel the Rubicon, it's built out just like I want it. I won't need to do very much to the Gladiator, but I will add a Sunrider, change the wheels & tires.

I now have my Fun Jeep and a fun Jeep.

Welcome to the Forum, from Cave Creek AZ.
Congrats on owning a Gladiator Mojave! Nice looking Ride.
Many are getting rid of their 4XE's, because of the issues with them.

I forgot to post when I signed up….this is my 21 JT if I remember it has a 2in Mopar lift and 35s
I replaced the plastic front bumper with a New Venture steel bumper ( made right here in Grand Junction Colorado) and an HF winch. I also added Auxbeam 7in LED lights and a pair of DV8 pulls. I added ft and rr dif skids as I do a bit of off-roading. I absolutely love getting out in the mountains and Moab desert.
I also have been a dirtbiker for 52 years and have a CR500 and an RM300. Let’s have some fun! 🤙🏼🍻

Hey there folks! Former owner '24 JLUWX Willys with the Xtreme, comfort, and safety packages in Early Gray. Kept it for 16 months and 24k miles and took it a lot of places, KY, TN, GA, NC, WV, VA, CO, and UT. Good fun with it. Really interested in a Gladiator with a V8 engine; so in the mean time, I'll be reading what Gladiator owners are doing to and with their trucks.

Hey everyone, new member here. 2020 gladiator Rubicon in punkn metallic. 2" Mopar lift on 35s. 6speed, here for a discussion about the centerforce clutch (and the overal negative manual experience).

I'm in Alberta Canada, and have taken my Jeep on a few longer adventures, as well as many days of local wheeling.

getting a Gladiator
Hi Everyone,

New to Jeep thing. Actually looking for my 1st Gladiator. Need some help/guidance from the community. There are so many trims available and I am not sure which one would be best. I will be doing some off-road but nothing crazy, mostly going to the ranch for hunting as well as daily driver. As a home owner, the truck bed will be useful for all those home improvement projects (Hence my interest in the Gladiator). Not really looking for towing much, but may on occasion pull a trailer. I am not the type to swap vehicles often, I tend to keep them for their duration so I am leaning toward purchasing new. However, if they are worth buying used, I am open to that idea. Thanks in advance. Rick

Welcome to the forum.

Now lets talk about your flag... please don't lay it down or let it touch anything below it.

Yes. Good point! I will never do that again. Plus, when I drive, the wind comes from the rear towards the front and cause the flag to cover the roof. Not what I intended. Should have know that the air flow dynamics would do that.
