So my legs get chewed up driving the Gladiator and our 4xe Wrangler. Most often they rub against the door connector cord cover. I know there's a video of twisting the door connector cord upside down to keep it from sticking out into the driver's well (which I haven't done), but has anyone else had this problem? What was your fix?

For reference, I'm a thick 6'1 with size 13 feet, so the foot well is relatively tight. I often adjust my driving position and legs, but after a while of driving, I may move back against the cord cover. The pic at right is not my Jeep, but is just a reference pic of the cord and cover.

Was one of my main complaints, the strap on the left, transfer case shift on the right.

Rotating the strap moves it out of the way.

I have a beer coozie on the transfer case shifter lol.

Yep but anytime I mention that the cabin needs to be a lil bit roomier guys lose their minds on the other forum.

Ok peewee... 😂

Idk why people think they can argue people out of an opinion lol. You like what you like, it's pretty much that simple, a bunch of paragraphs aren't going to change it.

I am 6' 1" with size 11.5. Never had a problem with this. I drive stick, maybe my feet move more often. But then, I only weight 211, no cankles! Truck is in Hawaii so I am wearing shorts also.

I assume you all are taking a test drive before your bought and knew what you were getting into, especially if you had a Jeep previously?

My other Jeep is a 2010 JK, they have a storage compartment molded in the door panels that sticks out about 3" and it just digs into my leg. They changed this on the 2011 but the door panels don't interchange. It's just miserable to drive long distances.

I'm only 5'9" and find the footwell to be frustrating at times.

Even my Camaro might as well be a stadium in comparison.

Wouldn't mind stretching the doors a smidge, either. Even at my height I gotta lean forward to see around the B-pillar 😂

Someone's height isn't really a factor, as we can see from this thread lol.

It's just a matter of opinion, which is totally personal.

And on the internet, if you have an opinion, someone out there with a differing opinion is basing their entire existence on proving beyond a doubt their opinion is right and all others are wrong.

Like, I don't like dark colors... and someone, will come along and write a five page dissertation about how dark colors are the best and cure childhood cancer, as if it'll make me like dark colors...

Oh, well, now that you say that, I suddenly love millennial gray 🙄

Oh, you're 6'1 and have room? Well I guess I do too then, my mistake, sorry, I'm actually super comfy.

You're right. A bunch of paragraphs won't change anything. However, 4 exclamation points will!

I have no idea how you're doing that lol. I saw this thread and literally walked out to my driveway to try and replicate it, and can't figure out how you're doing that haha.
