oh shit read it wrong. If I could ONLY keep three? I agree with Vtur, I'm just going to get something else. These trucks aren't acceptable in stock form.

As opposed to the replacement... which would need even more mods to be as good as the Jeep is stock off road?
I'd take the gladiator with the lift, tires, and winch over anything else with an extra $10k in mods.

If you consider "a lift" a single mod, then sure.

I don't.

That's shocks, arms, coils, at minimum.

Ranger Raptor?
JL Wrangler?

vs a 3 mod Gladiator?

The stock gladiator out wheels the ranger raptor so yeah I'll take it plus 3 mods. A lift kit is a single mod made up of parts...in a kit. We can make up weird semantics for how a mod is defined, but if I can order it as a single part number it's one mod to me. If every piece counts as a mod there's almost nothing you could install. Sway bar disconnects are at least 2 pieces and 4 bolts, there's 6 mods out the gate?

Well then I claim my trail-proven Gladiator on 40s is a one-mod rig.

If you're cataloging your entire suspension under a single part number for the sake of the conversation then you might be in over your head.

When you strip everything back to just three mods, tire quality, under‑body/body protection and storage are what I would keep. All the fancy extras are nice, but those three deliver the most practical value off‑road.

I'm not cataloging anything, the manufacturers do that? A single part number from a catalog or website is a single mod.

On the JTRD: 37’s, TeraFlex Nomads, Mopar Lift.

On the. JTM: 35’s, TeraFlex Nomads, AEV lift.

They just look better IMO with a little lift and bigger tires!
