The owner of that Jeep is a forum member and he says there is no rub lock to lock steering.were wheel spacers needed to keep clearance?
IMO 35's on the 2" lift is the answerI want the most articulation I can get on the biggest tire I can get on the smallest lift I can get that can be fitted in the stock spare space. I see that as 35's on 17's or 18's with a 2" lift. I could be persuaded to get 37's, but the hit to braking and power delivery without a regear just seems like it would be too much.
Teach me.
Can anybody confirm the size of this wheel tire combo?Opinions are like well you know...
Here’s mine .. I think gigantic tires stuffed under a Jeep look like your too cheap to lift it . It just looks edgy.
I agree they look like Mickey Thompson 40x14.50r20.Can anybody confirm the size of this wheel tire combo?
They look like 40x14.50R20... or maybe even 15.50.
IMO the best look is 40's with a 4.5" lift like the pics below. But im sure Dana 60s and Regear will be a must? i dont plan to run my offroad much.
I reached out to ask him, and he said he made his own. They are a shop, he said he used a JL lift for the front, and a modified RAM 1500 for the rear. and it totaled out to about 4.5" of lift.I agree they look like Mickey Thompson 40x14.50r20.
Which lift kit is that on the white jeep?
Thanks for the info. I currently have 40s on my JLUR. Trying to decide if I want to do 38s or 40s on the Gladiator.I reached out to ask him, and he said he made his own. They are a shop, he said he used a JL lift for the front, and a modified RAM 1500 for the rear. and it totaled out to about 4.5" of lift.
I asked if he would be manufacturing and selling his lift, he said no, it was a one off.
