There is a rumor foating around on the Gladiator Facebook page that the late availability colors may be pushed back. Anyone know if there is truth to this?

Too early to say. They have shortages of steel bumpers, soft tops, and bedliners. If that doesn't get cleared up soon everything will get backed up. What's going on with Mexican tariffs? Is the order volume sustainable? Too many variables to do more than take a wag at it

I thought the bed liners are done up the street from the plant. They probably wait until there is a lot full and do them all at once? Don’t think they’d ship an entire truck from Ohio to Mexico to get a bed liner sprayed

Yeah it's the oddest thing. Bed liners are back ordered. I was at the dealer yesterday and we were discussing ordering an identical rig without bed liner as I would probably get it faster. I've been in D status 3 weeks now give or take on it. Of all this things I would not have guessed this. They told me you could not even order it anymore.

There’s a video on YouTube where they take the spray in bed liner off and it’s very thin compared to a Linex installed liner.
After I saw that I deleted this option from my order and decided to get it locally..

I did the exact same thing.

Plus, the Line-X has a lifetime warranty and the OE does not. And, the Line-X covers more of the bed than the OE also.

So what is the recommended dosing?

I’ve always just got the standard application.
Most of my trucks have had either a tonneau or a cap for most of their lives so I don’t see the need for additional uv protection.
I’ve never noticed any fading or chalking.

Thanks.

Any opinion on getting black fenders and having bed and fenders sprayed with colored LineX ?
