Nice! I had forgotten you got those with your take off stuff! Looks awesome!!
They felt huge last night, but this morning in the light, doesn't look as impressive..... That's what she said.

Lol, I've just been tainted with all the 35-40" photos of other guys trucks.

I've got a slew of other stuff to install and post on here. One day at a time.

For the love of all that is holy, dont open your JT front doors if it is raining outside. The water just flows from the gutters right into the truck. What I horrible design. We had a bad rain storm the other day and for the 6 seconds that I had the door open, the carpet and door panels were beyond soaked! Wow we need to find a fix for that. Wonder if there is a thread for that issue. If so I missed it.

Looks ALOT better!
AND just remember, you also didn't spend the $5k+ that some of the rest of us have in lift/tires...:lipssealed:

HA! it is raining today, but i didn't experience the tons of rain. I have noticed when you stop that a flood of water goes over the windshield.

So i suggest when its raining and you plan to get out, stop fast so the water rushes off the gutters then jump out FAST!

Yeah... it's really bad. I did read another post about it but cannot remember where and I do not think it had a fix anyway.

Thats sound advice, but I have the soft top on and water kinda slowly moves across that thing, except when the doors are opened, then it seemed to move much faster. The bigger problem was when i got to the JT in a parking lot and had to open the door. It just flowed in! It was bananas.

Not sure who's spending $5k on lift and tires. There are tons of places that you can get 37 inch Nittos, BFG, Coopers, Toyos and basically any Black Rhino, Fuel...etc etc 20" wheel for under $3k. Lifts are no where near $2k unless you are trying to build the baddest Mall Crawler out there. Well, I guess if you are not installing the lift yourself you have a point, that could be $2k easily. Ok. I'll sit corrected. Carry on!

Finally got bigger shoes. One hell of a deal too IMO. 35" KO2's on steel wheels. Only 50 miles on them. $500 for all five! Crazy the size difference too.
I also added the black decorative door hinge covers. They came in glossy black but I sprayed them in matte black to match the other black plastic on the truck.

I installed a Curt Spectrum brake controller (and took the RV out for a test ride), and a new decal.

The controller and adapter harness were ordered from Amazon: Curt Spectrum Controller, Curt Harness Wanted to wait for the factory controller, but at the rate FCA is going it won't be out in the 4th quarter like it's supposed to be. Anyway, installation is crazy easy as you can do what I did or stick it anywhere with or without holes (they proved two different mounting methods).

Setup is stupid simple and it does what it's supposed to do, and IMO, looks pretty darn good. Gladiator towed the RV like a champ (3200lbs). Felt pretty darn similar to my Ram 1500 (It had the same V6 and 8 speed transmission).
