Nice! I replaced the dash speaker. How do you get into the sound bar without destroying it?Swapped out the 3.5” top dash (with Infinity REF3022CFX) and soundbar (JL Audio C2 350x) speakers. Nice sound improvement over the Alpine Premium speakers.
Picture is of the JL Audio in the Soundbar.

nice! Did you have to modify anything for fitment? Any issues with install?Swapped out the 3.5” top dash (with Infinity REF3022CFX) and soundbar (with JL Audio C2 350x) speakers. Nice sound improvement over the Alpine Premium speakers.

I’m convinced any Alpine Premium (8.4 with 9 speakers) replacement is a big improvement.
See the pictures below comparing the magnets.
1) Alpine (muddy sound)
2) Infinity (better high/mid, less bass)
3) JLAudio (better better mid/bass, less high)

Easy, took maybe 20 minutes to do both sides. Just 4 torx screws to remove the cover panel and 2 screws to remove the speaker. No modifications needed although it’s tight and you have to finagle the wires behind the spongy sound deadening insert (you can see it beside the speaker).Nice! I replaced the dash speaker. No modification to the JT at all. On the Infinity speaker bracket ears I had to put a slight (30 degree-ish) bend with needle nose pliers on each side to fit the top dash compartment screw holes. Nothing to it and that was all. Everything went in nicely and sounds so much better than stock. I believe the 8.4 stereo head is fine, just needed some better speakers for the output. Still a work in progress with the remaining speakers, but happy with the results for now.nice! Did you have to modify anything for fitment? Any issues with install?
Thanks! That looks like the same type of harness I used to put a set of Cerwin Vega H735 speakers in the dash. They were a huge upgrade over the dash speakers. Now I want an upgrade for the mid/bass. I'll definitely take a look at the JL C2-350x.Easy, took maybe 20 minutes to do both sides. Just 4 torx screws to remove the cover panel and 2 screws to remove the speaker. Use the below wiring harness adapter on the 3.5” speakers and makes it very easy. They just slide/snap on.

Nice I have been thinking about doing this. Where did you run the wire all the way to the aux wiring in the front?replaced the reflectors in the rear bumper with some black aluminum diamond plate (form amazon) and KC C2 LED flood lights. Wired to aux switch.

yes, I ran the wires inside the box frame all the way up to the aux wires in the engine compartment. Used the factory wire looms under the bed, zip tied to that, made my way to a hole back there to enter the box frame. Then There is a hole in the box frame behind the shock that serves as an easy exit to go straight up to the aux wires and ground location. See photoNice I have been thinking about doing this.
