I just added a Daystar level/lift to my Sport today as well and can't wait to get tires.

I actually served with 3rd LAI BN out of "The Stumps" during Desert Shield and Storm, we were part of 1st Bn LAI while in theater. I loved the LAV's and bar non my favorite unit I served with.

I spent plenty of time at the 29 Stumps. Wonderful place in July/August. E-club kept me sane until 2am each night I could get there.

is it me or does the rear look like it is squatting a bit ?

Just the camera angle and grade. When on flat ground it's level or just the least bit raked with the rear being the higher end.

Former house painter question: did you use a primer or thinned-out first coat, something to really soak into the wood first?

Brainstorming, I wonder if repurposing un-warped pallet wood might work well here?

Former Lowe's guy here. Unless the wood stays in Georgia, Oregon/Washington or someplace with some matching humidity, it's going to warp to some extent. It's not even big box that's the problem, just big box do product turns quicker, and indoor yards so the bunks get broken into before they have a chance to acclimate better, and thus warp like a mofo. I always had my guys rotate stock by date to minimize that, plus tried to keep a 3-4 week supply on hand for best sellers. Smaller retailers usually have a drive through lumber yard, and that helps a bunch for quicker acclimation.

How hard was it to install the switches?

The shop I took it to does all of the local dealerships after market work. I had him doing other work for me and he only charged me a total of 2.5 hrs which came out to about $300.00 plus tax. But the tech was on it for at least 4 hours.

I wired up a set of KC HiLite Gravity LED PRO6 driving lights to the OEM Steel Bumper using a BadgeGlow Aux board from the OEM Aux switches.

I have power! These lights are excellent!

This morning I installed the BuiltRight Industries Utility Rail System, Bedside Front Rack System and their Red Bed Plug Cover.

Funny enough, I installed the Red Bed Plug Cover last and it started to rain.... So I pulled the tonneau cover over me and kept at it! I can just imagine what the neighbors thought if they saw me pull the tonneau cover over my head.

I also installed a Factor55 UltraHook Rope Guard for my synthetic rope.

Hello guys, what i did today is install my new catch can from UPR and i was gonna install my new door jam covers from rugged ridge but im already super cold from the this texas weather from installing this and even though it took me 10 minutes im still cold so yeah lol,but im happy i bought this cause my truck only has a couple thousand miles and it already had oil on the pcv line so im glad i installed this catch can,kinda doing some "Preventive Maintenance" if you want to call it that

Looks good! What does Badge Glow do? Does it just make it easier to connect to Aux switches by bringing the connections to under the hood?
