I have those wheels and tires on my Ford Excursion and love them. Been running BFG ATs for 30 years. I always get 100k miles out of them unless I screw one up. I recently put them on my wifes 2019 Honda Odyssey. Lol

I just got my Speed Dawg shift knobs. Was super easy to put on the transmission shifter knob, took maybe 5 minutes to do. I must say that the distance between the shift ball and the reverse lockout mechanism is at least 2 inches.

It makes it rather awkward putting the truck into reverse. The transfer case shifter knob says “JEEP” on drivers side and passenger side of the ball. The installation of that ball will take a good bit more time and a little tearing apart of the console and putting it back together. So I will wait and see if I like the transmission shifter knob or if I want to take it off before I think of putting on the transfer case shifter knob.

Pictures attached and yes that is a chocolate cat.
Further to my previous post the project is now completed. I just pulled off the side part of the console, took off the old transfer case shift knob and put on the old one. And for y’all’s info I emailed the folks at Speed Dawg the other day with a simple solution to make transmission shifter knob a good bit shorter. And I had to call them today with a quick question about the installation of the other knob. And in speaking with them today they told me that they had forwarded my suggestion to the manufacturer and they even had another suggestion along the lines of my ideas and they also passed their ideas on to the manufacturer. So the bottom line is that they may take action on these ideas and may have a much shorter adapter soon, no guarantee but I cross fingers. I like the new looks. Most pleased.

Took someone else’s idea and made a bed rack system. MacGyvered some tie downs.

Do you have the parts list for the home made bed rack? Definitely interested in that.

Looks good. Got a pic of the LEDs at night? Also, what's on your rear door hinges?

Looking good. What was your suggestion to modify the shifter adaptor?

I saw a video of a guy taking a hammer and some tool to knock the shifter off. He put painters tape under the shifter to protect it from getting scratched up. I went to Lowes and got a wooden paint stirrer. I cut that in half and hammered at that to knock the shifter up a tad. Then it was easy to pull it off.

Looking good. What was your suggestion to modify the shifter adaptor?
The adapter is rather tall, a lot taller than it needs to be. There’s 2 screws on it that you tighten to the shaft with an Allen wrench. Look at this picture and you will see that it could be shorter by 1/2 inch. When I spoke with the guy from Speed Dawg he told me that he also suggested to the manufacturer that the threads could also go higher up into the ball to also reduce the height. Spoke with him today and he told me that the manufacturer is working to reduce the height. I think they will have a shorter solution soon.

Procharger is in. Needed to redo the intake since the pipe was cracked. Wheels and tires are mounted. 2” puck in the front, 1 1/2” in the rear. May change pending on the stance.
