Just got my overland a few days ago.

I got a good local deal on some Rubicon tires/ wheels and rock slides.

That looks great. It completely changes the look. I have different side steps and I have a few short passengers who use them, but i would have taken off the Overland steps too. I don't like them.

Every time I look at mine, all I see is the stock all seasons. I can't wait to put some aggressive 33s on it. Its my DD and I drive a lot so I'm not going to go bigger than that. Mine came with the Black Mopar Tubular Side steps which don't look as bad. I finally got rid of all the chrome and tinted the front windows to match the back. I actually like the stock wheels on my Sting Gray. Unfortunately, tires are on the back burner right now with everything going on... Tires will eventually complete the look I'm going for.

I agree, 7, that you should try your Jeep stock first and see what it can do. It can do a lot, and not so long ago, 32-33" tires were considered huge, and the "holy grail" for upgrades. In general, I feel that several mods are worthwhile regardless: bring at least a bottle jack and some wood, such as plywood, to serve as a base if you need to jack up the JT. I like the Rock Hard sliders over the stock Rubicon rock sliders because they serve as a jacking point, if desperate, and protect your aluminum doors from shopping carts and doors flung open by nearby parkers. I like strong diff covers just in case you hit a rock you did not see (hiding in a bush for example, as once happened to me). Right now, Motobilt is probably the strongest, cheapest for diff covers.

Received and installed my Bak x4 Revolver tonneau! Absolutely love the fit and finish, and looking forward to getting my rhino rack on the accessory rails.
Was looking into this x4 revolver too, question on the rack you are able to have work with the x4. what accessory rails? Those slots on the side rails for the x4?...can you share a link? Wanted a secure rolling tonneau that works with a rack. Thanks!

I have had mine since Christmas (before I actually GOT the Gladiator!) but it hasn't been warm enough to do yet. Needs to be above 60F, yes?

Looks good!
These look good.
Regarding the temperature, hit head has a video on their website for cold weather install. That’s what I did last Thanksgiving. Basically turn your heater on high and let it sit that way for 10-20 minutes (can’t remember it exactly). Then you’re good to go.

Replaced the front sash speakers today, with Kenwoods. Also filled the roll bar with poly fill. Sound is so much louder, clearer and more crisp. Really good mod for the stock audio system!

I planned to take photos throughout the process, but got to rolling and forgot haha... so here is the stock speaker and a tools shot as well as a cool shot of my truck!

Nice speaker upgrade.
Poly fill reduces the standing wave inside a box.

simple terms... makes your speaker perform better while it’s in a sealed environment.

I don’t have the rack attachments yet, but will be buying the rhino rack rtl600 and aero crossbars. They will slide into the t slot rails. I also already have a rhino rack pioneer platform that I’ll use when offroading to hold all my recovery gear, I did a quick mock up with some 2x4’s I had laying around and I think it will work well. The rails are the same used one the pace Edwards jackrabbit tonneau, and the retrax tonneau since they are all truck hero products. My understanding is the yakama ladder racks will also work if you wanted a cab height option. or you could also do a custom 80/20 aluminum rack system that would mount to it(I have considered that option also, but prefer the quick detach and streamline look if the rhino rack.
