Finished installing my radios today. Used a @JcrOffroad overhead molle panel. The radios are a President Bill cb and a Midland MTX115 GMRS. I used a 3 foot Firestick 2 cb antenna. I really struggled with where to put it. I ended up just drilling a hole in the front lip of the bed. I had limited options with the hard tonneau cover and I didn't want it up front. I used a Wilson stainless mount and Wilson spring. The GMRS antenna is a Nagoya UT-72. It is actually a magnet mount antenna but I removed it from the magnet and used a stainless corner brace from Home Depot. I'm glad they come as a 4 pack because it took 3 trys to get all the bends right to get it to fit nice under the cowl.

Almost the same set up I have purchased and plan on installing. I bought the same JRC molle for the over head and I bought a presiden Andy. So while I am waiting on them to get here I had a few questions I was hoping you could help me with. Once the JRC molle is installed, do you need any additional hardware to mount the president CB? Did you but those black metal strips to mount onto the molle? Also I would love to mount my antenna on the bed rail as well. What mount did you use and how did you route it into the gladiator? (I have a soft top as well..) Any help would be much appreciated as I am eagerly waiting and hoping I can order the additionally needed things in the mean time. THANKS!!!

I made the metal plates from some 1 inch bar stock. That allows me to reposition the radios as I want since I didn't drill through the molle panel. I used #8 stainless machine screws and nyloc nuts. The Andy is a bit bigger radio so you would probably use bigger hardware. You can get the bar stock from Lowes or Home Depot. If you don't really have the tools to cut the bar stock you can just by some flat reinforcing straps, you will find them where the corner braces are.
The antenna mount is a Wilson stainless stud mount. I drilled through the lip at the front of the bed. It is a 1/2 inch hole. You will need some bent nose plyers to tighten the connector unless you have tiny hands. I cut the end off the cable and routed it through the vent on the back of the cab and routed it along the roll bar under the plastic trim. I then soldered a new PL259 connector on. I don't know if there is much truth to it but I used an 18 foot cable and I didn't shorten it. I didn't really want to drill into my new truck but I just couldn't find anywhere else for it. I really played with the though of welding a mount to the bed rock sliders but I just felt it was too low to mount an antenna.
Let me know if you have any other questions. I can shoot you more detailed photos of anything you may want to see.

How long did it take for you to get them?
Ordered just after the holidays and took about 8 weeks to receive. They did let me know up front that it would be 6 to 8 weeks due to a large volume of orders and their holiday shutdown

All out of mods for right now... I'll find something else to add sooner or later... Probably next things will be the TeraFlex adjustable track bar to recenter the front axle, and the Fox steering stabilizer to take up a bit of the wandering from the larger tires and offset wheels...Even though it does steer and handle better than stock, as-is... But it could use a bit more help IMO, to make it trip-worthy, and good-to-go for highway speeds and interstate driving.
Steering stabilizer isn't going to do much for the wander in your steering. If you haven't readjusted the caster with geometry brackets or, better yet, adjustable front lower control arms, then your problem is the lift you installed throwing the caster off. Fix that and adjust the caster, being aware of the wear and tear you're putting on the driveshaft at the new pinion angle.

Installed my Rugged Ridge bumper with the 12k Smittybuilt winch. A bit of a bigger pain than I was expecting to be honest, specifically with the fog lights (have to grind the skid plate a bit because they run) and the winch is a tight fit. My dumb ass didn't read the fine print either so the stinger is in the mail. Once I'm all done I'll post an updated photo.

Very happy with the Fab Fours rock rails! Went in easy and they don't interfere with the front mud flaps like the Rubi rails did. Not to mention the step for the wife which makes it her favorite mod to date!
I pulled the same number Ass move. Did they charge you for the stinger or ship it for free? Nice looking rig BTW.

Had to move my arb twin compressor from the engine bay to under the passenger seat. So I got an arb seat bracket and got it installed... took way longer than expected. But hey! Air for the queen!

ps... more picture in my build thread.

Nothing crazy, took the small gladiator decals off the sides. Dropped it off for a Line-X bed liner and window tint. Adding those hood graphics when they do the tint. Ill post pictures when i pick it up tomorrow

My buddies the Fedex and UPS guy both showed up this week, so had some projects for the weekend...
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS] 20200418_143410

Started with a simple thing, the Rugged Ridge Sport Bar Fire Extinguisher Holder:

Then moved on to the Teraflex Falcon Nexus EF 2.2 Fast Adjust Steering Stabilizer:

Then on to the lights (KC HiLiTES 91336 Gravity Pro6 LED Light Bar Kit on top, and KC HiLiTES 100 SlimLites for the A pillers and in front of the winch). The ones in front lower will have amber covers once I order the correct ones (oops). Also threw on the WARN 102350 Mid Grille Guard Tube.

Finally, added in my Carolina Metal Masters GLADIATOR JT SIDE MIRRORS WITH BALL MOUNT SOLUTION. Still a bit too cold to get the doors off, and playing with where I'm going to mount things, but wanted to get the mounts in place for some potential geocaching later in the week.

Installed the black face plate that Chris from iDrive sent me. Looks WAY better now than the white faceplate on there. Looks more discreet. :like:

Why did you have to move your compressor out of the engine bay?

With the help of @DMC1 - installed a Synergy Front Track Bar and Sector Shaft Brace on Saturday. I previously upgrade the steering stabilizer.

https://www.synergymfg.com/synergy-...-and-sector-shaft-brace.html?category_id=4980

Can't say I feel a major change in steering, but it felt a bit stiffer on the way home. That could be mental though..... justifying my purchases/installations. I will say it is a beefy brace and will definitely stop any flex.

Reinstalled the Factory tie downs in the corners of the bed. Did t even know I had these until the other day when I was looking through the dash. Stripped out the bolt on the passenger side one because it was full of bedliner. Ended up getting it installed but it took some muscle to get it done. It may never come out again but I'm not planning on removing them. Hit both tie downs with some bedliner so they would match the rear tie downs and cover up the scratches I put on the passenger side ones. Now my OCD can move to other Jeep related things.
