Very pleased with my newly installed Yakima Overhaul HD rack. Used the track adaptor kit for the Nissan/Toyota and utilized the Toyota parts to complete the install. Very solid. Can't wait to put my 4 person Tepui tent on top and camp this weekend. Next project is a fridge wiring for my Dometic Fridge.

Looks great! Interested in hearing your reports after the tent is on. Also if you want wiring ideas, I’ve already run a heavy 4AWG set of wires to the rear with blue sea plugs etc. happy to answer any questions for you.

I just screwed the fuse block to the frame at both ends, however that was a real pain given how hard the steel is in the frame. I also haven’t found a Grommet for the wires yet, but so far there doesn’t seem to be any wear. I tried to make sure there was slack inside the frame, but that they were sinched down as close to exiting as possible.
I found these grommets, I'll let you know if that works. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NCIWGM6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm looking to do the same thing. Might fore go the fuse block because I don't want to drag it thru water. Wondering if theres a possibility to locate the fuse block in the tailgate behind a panel. TBD.

A blue sea fuse block is designed to be submerged if needed. You may end up popping a few fuses, but still won’t harm anything. Either way you need your stuff fused front and rear.

I added some ACTUAL premium subwoofer to my JT, and ditch the crappy alpine sub. I was really disappointed when actually looking at it. Now has a 300w amp and 2 10" in a box behind the back seat. Cut up the factory plastic to keep it factroy looking from up top.

I'm so envious right now...seeing everyone get their parts. I am waiting on a little over $2k in stuff to come in...some I ordered back in February. I will probably be back at work by the time everything finally comes in. Which means I won't have time to install any of it. lol

ACE Upper Decker. When I ordered the website said 2-3 week lead time. A couple of days later when I check the site it said 4-5 weeks lead time. And here we are exactly 2 months to the day and the last word I got on my upper decker was March 18th.

I know the comment above said their blocks could be submerged but that's not the best idea unless you like brushing crap out of terminals. Blue Sea is releasing a new 4-circuit block in the next couple months that is IP66 (100% dust sealed, strong water jets) rated. Technically not immersion rated (IP67 requires a 30 minute test at 1m) but I'm sure it would do just fine for quick dips in crossings and definitely be fine for mud. I'm holding off on the rear plugs until I get my canopy but I'll have one of these installed for sure so I can run just a single power cable back there.

Kind of. It was a box I had from my ram truck. The box was too large to fit in the space so I cut it down to work. I'm pretty sure you could buy a box that would fit, that's no wider than 6 inches at the bottom or taller than 12, and narrower at the top.

I finally got word from ACE that I am still about 2-3 weeks out...This is just crazy.
