Can you please post some pictures of how the cubbard attaches. Also a measurement of of far past the wheel well the cubbard sticks out. Also an over measurement of the side opening. I am trying to decide on 1 - 750, 2 -750 or 1- 1250 cubbard. Thanks
OK here are a few pictures of the brackets that hold the cubbard. The base of the cubbard is about 4.5” inboard of the wheel well.
The overall width is 29.5” which leaves about 21.5” from the cubbard to the strut.
let me know if you have any further questions.

I needed a minimum of 2” from the top of the bars to the top of the canopy so that I can use the bolts that are on my Roofnest hard shell pop up tent and AVO supplied these Alu-Cab risers which gave me just what I need...
Looking forward to seeing the RTT up there....

Thats great. Thank you. Can your cubbard go any further toward the front? When looking at the pic of the compartment open, there looks to be a bit of gap to the right of the cubbard

‘Me too but it may be a while. I’m trying to get to AK for the summer in my truck camper. Just have to open the us/Canadian border and we’re gone.

‘It might but you have to leave room for the strut and it is at a slight angle so it needs a bit of room

I’m hoping to do a series of posts to hopefully answer most of the questions you guys may have..

Up first is the fit of the canopy to the bed..

there are 3 stainless steel custom brackets on each side that are attached with SS bolts to the Gladiator bed rail. These brackets are really well built and will securely hold the canopy to the truck regardless of what you do to it.

Also, as you know the front of the bed is slightly below the side rails and this would create a potential leak point. The canopy front is actually slightly lower than the sides and along with the heavy duty gasket completely seals the canopy to the bed. We drove home in heavy rain yesterday and didn’t have one drop inside!

Now some pics!

Technically it looks like they didn't follow the directions, but i think i'm doing it in a similar way.

do you think it would work if I laid down a bead of silicone there, smoothed it out, let it dry, THEN put the cap on?

I just don't want the silicone to stick to the cap's weather stripping for when i take it off.

Check out that fridge cubby-hole! NICE!

@steffen707 I don't think trying to build up the gasket with RTV first will work that well. When the time comes to remove the cap I plan to use a piece of safety wire slipped under the gasket before the RTV to cut the short bead of sealer. Same idea as cutting a windshield out.

Great news guys! The truck came a day earlier than the 2nd estimate!, 3 days AFTER the first estimate!

Bad news, the truck didn't have my pallet on it!:angry::mad:

The driver looked for my box for 5 minutes, said sorry its not here, and left.
That had to have been a crushing letdown..... hopefully it didn't end up on a truck to Arkansas!

Sorry, yes the base of the doors which are made of a piece of channel so they stick inward a bit more than the “skin” of the doors.
