Picking up Big Red on Saturday, I'm having a Mopar 2" lift installed before I pick it up. DId my best to have the 17" wheels and 315/70/17 BFGoodrich KO2 tires I oredered delivered in time for pick up but can't get them delivered until next week. I want the truck before then so I guess I have a couple questions:
Will driving back on the lift, stock tires and wheels do anything detrimental to the vehicle? Other than looking silly of course
I'm seeing everywhere that I'll need a speedometer re-calibration to match new tire/wheel size to proper speed, but there is conflicting info EVERYWHERE.
Does anyone know if a local Jeep dealer can do the calibration (I saw a video on Wrangler forum that says yes) and if so idea of cost?
If not, where the heck do I get it done other than doing it myself?
Thanks!
