The departure is really not that big of a deal if you don’t mind the bumper rubbing the dirt/rocks occasionally. It doesn’t limit performance much at all. The breakover Sucks pretty bad. I’ve found that I have to take a different angle than I am used to, but there are advantages climbing ledges as well.You'll never overcome that departure deficiency without a massive amount of work but rubbing the angles, you just need to step up to 37's to overcome the deficiency in breakover. It's only a 2 degree difference between the two and the JTR has the same spec as the JLU Sport.
