Got my new tires installed. 275/70/18 Dueler A/T Revo 3. They’re a little over an inch bigger and .5” wider than the stock 255/70/18 all seasons but the difference in look is bigger than that. They measure out to 33.4”. Now I don’t look at my beautiful Jeep and only see those terrible looking all seasons. Even with the E load tires, It drives better than stock and still rides great. This is how it should have looked from the factory.

Nuts, was hoping you had a solution I wasn’t aware of.

I’ve done something similar with rope & pulleys and two side loops to the link in your post, but it’s a bit unstable and keeping both sides in sync was challenging both up and down. I have chains on each corner that safely / “permanently “ hold the platform up until I want to lower it. I’m now trying to create something with cable on all four corners to a ring, then to a wall mounted electric or hand winch. Harbor Freight winch is on sale for $79 right now. I really like this storage idea so that freedom tops and other Jeep items are safely stored up out of the way. Not sure when I’m actually going to try this new idea. My top is safely stored fir now.

For those that switched from a JK to a JT (Gladiator) and previously purchased and used a Hoist-a-Top system, Lange offers both a full JT top lifting/stow kit or an upgrade to convert your frame and foam to mod it for your JT. Slick system that easily lets the topper to be removed by one person and, depending on your garage height, stay out of the way while you’re topless.

I found this less expensive A pillar bracket option on eBay:

Which led me to these LEDs (see what I did there). I figured I’ve wasted $20 on dumber sh!t in my life so why not.

And who can argue with a tag line like “we was born for freedom”?

So after rattle canning some silver hardware black, a $20 trip to Big Blue for misc supplies, soldering a few wires, zip tying stuff out of harms way and putting things back together the end result is:

I’m pretty happy with the results and now my AUX switches do something,,,, At least one of them...For now...

I got no idea how they will perform in a rollover. But if you are taking your doors off and driving around you probably get that. They are a stupid easy install. They cut your door removal time dramatically.

Did you also install the delrin bushings or just the guide pins?

I get that there would be a noticeable change in acoustics. I don’t see how it gives a noticeable change in climate control. There’s still a lot of surface area it doesn’t cover. I don’t own them, so you’d know better than I do though.

This custom headliner protects the heat in our country, reduces the heat/sound around 30% to 50%. In summer, the weather increases around 100'F to 114'F. So, the OEM headliners isn't enough.

I got put into the corner by the forum admin for a month so I've got a little catching up to do. I got the Fox Acoustics single 10" ported sub box installed with a Kicker CVR sub being pushed by a Boss PV3700 5-channel amp. I upgraded all of the interior speakers with Cerwin Vega H440 and H435. The CV speakers sounded really good before the amp install but now they are amazing! The single 10" is super loud as well. It's a pretty solid setup for around $1K.

Trail Rail system installed. Clearing the holes from the factory spray in bed liner was the most difficult part.

Since Friday...installed a 2" lift, swapped tires to 37x12.50x17 Falkens, tracked down a set of factory wheels to have a matching spare, installed Rock Slide Engineering steps and finally drove it. I guess technically I did this all to my wife's Gladiator.

Added a Line-X spray Premium bed liner to protect the bed. I was planning to wait a while but then moved a roto tiller and wheelbarrow (ever so carefully) and still scratched the bed. Also added the trail rails a week or so ago. Next install will be the Bak Revolver X4.
