Got 35's put on today! Lots of chatter they don't rub without a lift... They DO rub, only in the front.... but only if you are at max turning, max flex, with sway bar disconnected. If its connected they will never rub, if you don't have to make a hard turn while fully articulatd you'll be fine... which seems unlikely given the amount of trails I've had her and and her sisters on.. The last image she still has the stock 33's.

Some "35s" are bigger than other "35s". I've seen as much as an inch and half or so of difference by tire brand and type. Could you tell us what tires you have, and could you measure vertically from the ground contact to the point where the shoulder makes it's sharp bend into the tread on top? That number, BTW, is a good starting place for a programmer setting to calibrate your odometer/speedometer. It's usually right on, and don't be surprised if it's quite a bit less than 35.

I got rid of the amber corner markers, added some KC Gravity driving lights, covered the yellow logo with gray, and replaced the fog lights with a set of matching KC’s.

Looks like he is running Falken Wildpeak MTs. Which is what I run in 35x12.5x17. Those tires are withouth any load 34.8" in diameter. They are closer to 33.5" when mounted, at least for me. I don't have any rub, at all. But, my sway bar links are always connected. No rub on turning or on trails. The only time it hit the fender liner was during climbing over some larger rocks. However, that was with the Sport Max Tow fender flares. I recently installed the Rubicon fender flares, which added 1.5-2" of clearance between the top of the tire and the fender flare liner, so that should eliminate all contact of the tire with any part of the vehicle. See my above post with pics

I got the Falken Wildpeak M/T 35x12.50x17, To replace my stock falken M/T's. I know they are a bit smaller than 35" and programmed it in according to what my tire guys said, 34.8, actual size is 34.76, but the programmer, AEV procal snap, only goes to the nearest 10th. When measured from the my garage floor to the top of the tire they are right at 34" They are also 3/4" wider than stock which translates to 3/8" stick-out on either side of the rim.

My steering has been driving me nuts so I took apart the intake and adjusted the steering box screw. Now it's tight, a little too tight. Going to have to do it again and loosen the screw a bit. I also installed hood locks.

Is this the same “fix” as the video that’s been posted on another thread about “taking care of steering slop”?

My dealer just used the sidewall. I tried telling them the actual numbers but they didn't listen. Oh well, liability and discrepency on mileage/speed is minor and ultimately on them.

I installed the Bak revolver X4. Install was a PIA mainly due to maybe the worst instruction manual I’ve worked with. It still a tiny bit wonky when it comes to locking at the back, I have to make sure it’s straight at the very end. Was happy to see my amp research bed extender fits nicely underneath with room to spare and my trail rails were no issue. Had to cut a way a tiny bit on the Line-X but they shop that did that did an excellent job of keeping holes clean.

You have them on stock rims? I think that's the difference: Most folks go with aftermarket rims with a bit of offset to push the tire out slightly from the wheelwell.

Yes they are on stock rims, and yea, thats probably why they rub a bit. If it becomes a problem I'll change it. But for now, for my wallets sake, it'll stay the way it is.

Where do they rub and under what conditions? I am not noticing any rubbing with my on and off roading but my trails are different than yours

ETA: what conditions outside of that ramp flexing
