Wanted some black on the tailgate, but not the whole mid section as seen on many others. Still deciding whether or not I like it. Also have the gladiator badge from hauk coming, so I may test that out on top of this.

Fun project today.
  • Drilled a 1-3/8" hole in my Nuthouse Nutshell box, inserted rubber cable grommet
  • Routed ARB fridge power cable up through the grommet into the Nutshell
  • Put Jackery 500 power pack in the Nutshell. Plugged the ARB into the Jackery DC port; then plugged the Jackery into the Gladiator's bed outlet
Now the fridge will be powered 24/7 by the Jackery, which itself will charge from the Gladiator's bed outlet when the truck is on.

I was glad to see the Jackery pulls 80W from the Gladiator bed outlet, which matched what it pulled from my house wall socket. Should fully charge in about 6-7 hours, and from that charge it will run the fridge for about 2+ days.

Very happy with this self-contained, weatherproof setup.

Leaving for 2 weeks in the San Juans on July 31. Can. Not. Wait.

Prepping for the fog & snow of West Virginia with some 4" Rigid 360s.
I hope these lights are worth the $; I've never, ever spent more than $100 on a fog or driving light outside of some Corrado VR6 Euro-headlights from back in the day.

Just put on the gator soft top tonneau. Took about 8 minutes ( 6 of those minutes was moving my fatass like a walrus in the bed. Looks decent and fits pretty well, some minor things like tailgate holes and isn't flush with rear angles but hey for 200 bucks in not complaining.

To me, $800 is a fair price for that lift. $1,200 seems pushing it, and retail at $1,600 is grossly overpriced for what it is...It's 100% non-adjustable.

Did a slight adjustment on the alignment today. Took it from 2° of toe in to 4.5° and finally re centered the steering wheel.

It takes a lot less input to stay between the lines now at 70mph, but it still has a slight pull to the right when you let go of the wheel.
