Hey guys, based off the feedback, the Oracle Lighting Design team has started working on the conceptual stages for the new flush mount rear lights. Thoughts?

From a conceptual standpoint, I think it has potential. Make them LED, with some More modern styling, and you will have a winner.

Excuse my poor phone editing. But something like this would be cool with me... Make it mount in stock location and let the lights sit inside a steel frame‍♂

I think those are much better... I like the 4th and 6th pics the best.. It would also look good with a single circular tail light as well IMO...

Number 1 by a mile, then 3, then maybe 7 could be interesting but it's a stretch. The rest don't don't do anything for me.

1 has me amped though! Some clear ram influence and feels like it'd match the FCA design aesthetic beautifully. Any chance we could that rendered from further away, maybe with both sides in the shot and directly from behind (I'm always this needy)? Honestly, you can have my money now for this.

The 1st one looks good, but the 3rd one is also an attractive alternative.
I think CarajoCoño is on to something by having a single circular one - to tie in a bit of the classic CJ look.

Really like the first. 3rd one would be my second choice. Would give a hard no on 4 and 5.

One thing that would be really cool to see in these is the power of the reverse light stronger.

Agree with you here. But, I'd STILL like to see aftermarket LED lights that aren't flush (OEM style)

Judging by their Wrangler offering, they will be.

@Oracle Designs build some like the ones @brancky3 posted for the JT and you will have a winner. Add a smoked out option as well. I don't care much about them being flush mounted, I just want some affordable Led Taillight options. I mean if they can build some in China for the JLs and sell them for $80 a set we should be able to get some affordable ones for the JT.

I love this, but when I think flush, I don't necessarily think completely hugging body lines as much as I do not having the unnecessary protrusions. If you drew two planes along the tailgate face and side of the bed and the light fit that space with a squared outer edge, I think that's probably going to fit the boxy look of the vehicle more. Going full wraparound on that corner makes it look too 90's retrofit IMO.

Doing that would be enough to make me sell my factory LEDs assuming you get a DOT cert so I don't have to deal with bs come inspection time.
