Front bumpers and Stock Rubicon Skid Plate

Looking for some information about which aftermarket bumpers will work with the stock front Rubicon skid plate. My JTR came with the plastic front bumper and I am looking to upgrade to a winch ready stubby front bumper. Many of the brands I am looking at (Poison Spyer, LOD, Warn) don't state if the stock skid plate will fit, but they do sell brand specific front skid plates. I also don't want to cut or heavily modify the stock one. Drilling some new mounting holes is all want to do if necessary. Thanks for any help!!

I know the Rugged Ridge Arcos bumper allows use of the stock skid plate. I have it on mine, really happy with how it looks.

Another vote for the Rugged Ridge Arcus. The stock skid plate fits as do the factory LED fog lights.

I have the LOD signature mid length, with factory fogs & skid plate. I did have to make a spacer for the fog lights but no issues with the JTR skid plate.

Razer RZKYFB-4005 which can be purchased on Amazon. Easy install and works with the factory steel Rubicon skid plate.

Fab Fours Stubby... But does not work with factory skid... Unfortunately... But other than that, I love the bumper. Super strong, and looks great. Gets lots of compliments.

I have the poison spyder brawler with poison spyder skid. If I had to do it over i would save the cash on the skid.

I drove around for a week with factory. an aftermarket bumper would have to hang pretty low to interfere with the factory skid.

Factory worked and looked just as good as the poison spyder. Probably better air flow on the factory. Definitely better coverage and powder coat.

tripple check your factory fog lights if you plan to reuse them. the brawler came with adapters and instructions for 3 different types. The LED from the plastic rubicon bumper was not one of them.

i trimmed my stock rubicon skid plate that came w my plastic bumper and made it work w the fab four stubby. it was my first time cutting metal w my dremel so it’s definitely doable

that would be the sahara/rubicon LED FOG lights? I have these fog lights I bought but according to Quadratec the Rubicon LEDs don’t fit (I’m guessing they meant the steel rubicon bumper LEDs).

Correct, I have a Rubicon with LED's and they fit.

I ordered a mojave, but I'd like to install a factory rubicon steel bumper on it.
Has anybody tried that? I'm hoping it'll bolt on without interfering with the mojave silver skid plate

My Ace JT expedition required some trimming Of the corners of the stock steel skid to clear.
