Max tow with or without hood “Gladiator” stickers?

I like the hood side decals and have considered the outline type on my blue JT Overland.
But I'm leaning toward the stylized ones - like this

but in outline. I can't find them so far.

I don't want BLACK block letters - that's just too much for MY taste on this truck. Love the blue and don't want to take away from that.

I would also recommend reaching out to Vortexsigns.com they would probably create one in outline like you want. They do all kinds of custom work. There is a number on the site.

How long do such decals last? A guy who reproduces the reverse c-sripe decals for Javelins - I used his stripes on my 70 and they still looked like new when i sold the car 12 years after installing them. He used 3M vinyl i believe. But he doesn't do custom.

Well I can say Vortex had great customer service. I messed up one of the “t’s” in one of my Gladiator decals. I emailed them confessed my stupidity and threw myself on their mercy. They smiled and sent a new letter at no charge. That is good customer service in my mind and worth using in the future for all my decal needs.

As for how they last. Well they are even better than the vinyl decals from the 70’s like the c stripes you are talking about.Don’t think you have to worry there. Only concern I would say keep in mind is some colors like red andhow they can fade but I believe that is not that much of a concern either with the modern decals

I agree that Jeeps should have something on the hood - its part of the look. But I also think it should not be the Jeep model name- that is already listed below the fender badge. Trim level or something yes. Gladiator again - just too much. BUT I see that lots of others disagree - thats fine. Thats what I love about personalizing your vehicle. You do you.

GLADIATOR stickers came off very quickly. Give it a name, any name, GLADIATOR stickers meh. Wranglers don't come with WRANGLER. Should have something, but make it your own.

I have been thinking about putting WILLYS stickers on my Overland hood. When I finally get it.

Why not MARTINS? Why does WILLY own your truck? ;-)
