Which dealer did you go to? Got my JT from Tri-City so I don't have one in the area. I have trust issues with some of the local ones for various reasons....I took the Mojave to the dealership today for my appointment, and just handed them a printout of the Service Bulletin. They kept it for the day, ordered the steering box, and are installing it on Sep 3rd. They did not make a fuss at all. They even counseled me that while it is not dangerous to drive while waiting for the part, it will be annoying lol. I just nodded my head and said thanks.
I took the survey mine sent me after the initial service appointment and now they refuse to do business with me. Apparently, giving them 0's is a no-no. @JeepCares, your dealers are making you look bad.I had the same issue.

Thanks I might need to head up there soon then.I went to Stateline in Fort Mill.
Sounds like a case of fraud against FCA. Corporate might want to hear about that.Picked mine up after they said they only completed the software update. The service reciept states they did the steerig box too, which I know they didn't. I questioned the guy at the counter, he said they didn't do the steering box, and then circled the software update on the sheet. He was pretty uninterested in the fact that I called them out for stating work they didn't perform. I might be looking for a new service dept.
I had planned to reach out to @JeepCares. I have the same feeling, how can I trust they did the computer upgrade, if they stated they did the steering box and didnt?Sounds like a case of fraud against FCA. Corporate might want to hear about that.
I wouldn't trust the reciept or the service department's word for what was or was not replaced. Crawl under there and snap a picture of the steering box. We can tell you if it was replaced. If it wasn't, send that picture to corporate FCA.
I’m confused? Does Jeep only do TSB, Warranty and recall work through the Dealer you purchase from? I’ve never heard such a thing! That would suck for me, it’s a 4-5 hour one way drive to the dealer I purchased from!!I would call them to see if the have the parts in stock before driving there. Tell them you would really like to avoid 2 trips if at all possible.
thank you for the update!Just left dearelship after appointment.
35" tires still on. They said nothing about them.
Took Jeep in service bay, 35 minutes later Jeep back out.
Couldn't talk to service tech but Service Writer said it needs the part and when it comes in they will also update software.
Waiting for part to arrive now. Ahhh.
Sorry not much info. I was at least hoping to get the software upgrade today but no.
Will update any changes after finally getting something actually done.
