I have a Synergy Jeep JT Front Track Bar and Sector Shaft Brace installed on my JT. It fixed the wandering of the vehical. Will I need to get the steering box replaced?

Just left dearelship after appointment.
35" tires still on. They said nothing about them.
Took Jeep in service bay, 35 minutes later Jeep back out.
Couldn't talk to service tech but Service Writer said it needs the part and when it comes in they will also update software.
Waiting for part to arrive now. Ahhh.

Sorry not much info. I was at least hoping to get the software upgrade today but no.

Will update any changes after finally getting something actually done.

Also wondering that. Even though many dealerships have recommended that steering brace I know someone who was turned down because they had 37” tires.
I'm running 37's and a brace, the dealer didn't say anything about them. Will order parts when he can (21/28 Aug for whatever reason).

Can anyone confirm if you need to "un marry" the Tazer before a software update or just removed it from the vehicle?

The Tazer mini never came with any instructions. All online and unless I missed it can't find where it tells you.

Thanks!
Also hope the update fixes the surging I'm feeling while driving. Kind of anoiying.

Any one who gets the software update please report changes back please.

I took my Gladiator to my local dealer to have this issue looked at. The service manager told me it was the result of the aftermarket wheels I put on. Once I argued the fact that the wheels, same size tires, would not invoke an excessive amount of play in the steering, I reference the TSB about the issue. He then came back and said that the TSB did not apply to my engine option, which happens to be the only engine offered in the Gladiator. This kind of crap is very frustrating. They said it has play, but it feels about the same as others.
That's the sort of shop I wouldn't let work on my bicycle if all I needed was tires inflated.
What a maroon.

Yes you need to unmarry the taser.. when you marry/unmarry the tazer downloads the current program, so if you didn’t unmarry once the dealer flashed you would lose that new software and have the dealer do it again

That's what I did as well. Unmarry. I also did a full reboot. Not sure if that was necessary but the instructions say to do it after any changes. All Tazer functions seem to have been removed.

I took the Mojave to the dealership today for my appointment, and just handed them a printout of the Service Bulletin. They kept it for the day, ordered the steering box, and are installing it on Sep 3rd. They did not make a fuss at all. They even counseled me that while it is not dangerous to drive while waiting for the part, it will be annoying lol. I just nodded my head and said thanks.

So had my Gladiator at the dealer last week and told them about the wander. They said tech found no codes and the service manager road tested and found the vehicle drives/steers normal. No problem found.
I even pointed out this service bulletin to them.
Since then I have driven more and had son drive and both of us experience the wandering.

Left work to go to the dealer for my appt. When I got there they told me it works be 1 to 1.5 hours to inspect it, and they don't have a loaner for me to get back to work. Had to call for a ride back to work. Wish they would've told me that when I made the appt. This isn't even for the fix, it's just to "check it out".

Well I'm happy to report a very good experience at Westgate Jeep in Raleigh this morning. (where I purchased my Gladiator)

As the lady was checking me in, the service advisor overheard me describing the loose steering issue (I was showing her a video I had record to demonstrate the issue). He immediately said they are aware of the issue and the TSB. Said honestly I don't even need to take your Jeep into the shop, there's nothing we can do for it today. He said they'll get the parts ordered but they probably won't come in until mid-Sept. Told him I was getting ready to install a lift and tires and wanted to make sure there was no confusion about the source of the steering issues. He said no worries, I can clearly see your Jeep is stock today, we'll get the parts ordered. I was in/out in under 10 mins. So thus far I couldn't be happier. Fingers crossed they actually order the parts and there aren't problems in Sept, but let's not borrow tomorrow's problems. Celebrate the win today.

Take in the TSB and highlight the part that states "if the customer is experiencing any of the following conditions do the repairs". It's not up to them to decide.

Great news! I ran up to my local dealership about a mile away. Spoke to a service manager, new about the TSB and said the steering boxes are on order and should arrive Wednesday. I didn't mention my Mopar lift I installed but he literally stood there staring at the rear shock lol. I am having 37s put on and asked him if those would matter. He said, you'll have the issue with little tires or big tires, doesn't matter. That was a relief!

Dealership called to say my Jeep was done and ready for pickup. They said they noticed the wandering issue, but only performed the computer upgrade, and the wandering was gone.

I thought they were supposed to do the computer and steering box if it was wandering.
