I get what you're saying, but it's 2020 not 1950....every new vehicle that comes off the lot, regardless of manufacturer, truck, car, bus whatever...should be able to track straight down the road.
I fully agree. My post was a little personal experience with a silver lining added to the topic. By no means a counter argument.

For those that have already had the steering box replaced, can you check and confirm the new part number please?

TiA!
I pulled back the plastic on the driver’s side wheel well and took a photo of the sticker on the steering box. It matches the one in the TSB.

Not sure if I’m just lucky or naive, but I don’t seem to have the steering issues that many are experiencing. My Rubicon is a 2/2020 production date with stock suspension and ~1,100 miles. No comparison to the steering in my Lotus, but still not all that bad (at least yet). I think I’ll hold off until my first oil change in a few months and mention it to my service manager at that time.
Yep that is the route I am going to take. My steering isn't terrible but it has gotten looser since I bought it and there is about 1.5" of play or so in the steering wheel. Certainly can't take your eyes off of things since it will wander quickly. That is the only thing that makes it a bit uneasy in heavy traffic or when pinned in by the cement wall barriers that are life here in Houston on some roads

I called my dealership in Texas, nice guys. Looked up my VIN and said there was no TSB available for me. I have a 2020 Gladiator sport. I read the bulletin and I don't see how it doesn't apply. I told them I would check back in a couple weeks.
What determines if you get a TSB I read the TSB and it didn't seem to mention anything about certain vin numbers that I saw unless I missed that. what dealership did you go to. I not going to bother with it till I go in for my first oil change unless I continue to get these dash lights coming on about the Auto/Start Stop. In about 1 1/2 months I have had it come on about 5 times now. If it does it again I am going to bring it in to have them look at it and will discuss this with them also

Did that.
Dealer said no. Said they compared our vehicle to one in stock. They were the same.
(Our dash cam shows that the tech took a 6 minute test drive; parking lot; smooth city streets. Speed never over 70 because he hit that once.)
Wish he had gone to a drive-through car wash. Would have been just as good a test, and the Jeep would have been clean.

Just curious if anyone has asked the tech doing the TSB on their JT to weigh the old aluminum gear box and the new iron gear box...

Just dropped mines off tonight for an early TSB service appointment tomorrow...

funny thing was my in-laws let me borrow their Tacoma while the JT is in the shop...and while driving home from the dealership in their Tacoma, the steering was pleasantly nice and on point.

Crossing my fingers that this TSB solves the steering problems...Dont let me down Jeep!

Is there any way to visually inspect which steering box is currently installed?

I may ask them to use the nut from my sector shaft brace for the install...I forgot how much of a pain in the butt it was to break the OEM one free and dont really want to have to do it again if the tech is overzealous with the locktite.
