Agree with PsyRN. Have stock MT and they have very nice road manners. When I replace someday, I mirror the opinion of a few previous posters in that Nitto Ridge Grapplers are the best tires I’ve ever owned (on an F-350).

Debatable between K02 and Ridge Grappler. I had KO2 on my last JK and went Ridge Grappler this time around. I’m very happy with my choice. The KO2s are
undersized and don’t look as aggressive, and the Ridge Grapplers still ride nice.
Yeah forgot about the Nittos when I was typing that up, but they are also a good choice.
Personally I'm loving the Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs I have on mine right now but seeing as they are a newer tire, time will tell if they hold up to the BFGs or Nittos.

The stock Falken ATs are pretty nice on the road, very quiet tires, good ride. I had Duratracs on my TJ and they did great in everything....except thick mud. But overall fantastic tires that I would love to have again
That's what I'm running as a bad weather tire on my Overland. I'll use the stock tires in good weather until they wear out and go from there, but in the winter, snow, ice, etc. the Rubicon take-offs (Falken A/T) do quite well in Iowa's winter. I also found them to not be any more noisy than the stock highway tires.

I have the ko2's & so far they have performed fantastic. My only complaint is they pick up sooooo many little rocks. I am in Idaho where chip sealing roads is for some reason considered to be a good ideal & the rock used in it is just about perfect to get picked up & then flung back out later.

I hate that - and then here they use tar that gets on the rock and flung onto the vehicle along with the rock.

Yep... The main road into my town has it done every couple years. New windshields for all every time.

Once the OEM tires wear out I’ll be going back to Milestar Patagonia M/T tire

Well I’m planning on going with what comes on it until I have to purchase new tires
The one nice thing with the Falken AT’s that come with the Rubicon is they have the snowflake on them which where I live in Canada means I don’t have to also get snow rated tires for the winter. I like the look of MT’s but the snowflake rating of the AT’s make it more of a viable option for me. When I switch my tires over, I’ll probably keep the Falken’s for winter time use.

I have embraced the road buzz. It isn't that bad really, it's become part of the drive. Nitto Trail Grapplers.

I mean if you have a truck with so many removable body parts, it A) already isn't that quiet even when buttoned together and B) when unbuttoned let's everything fly. So who cares about a little hum?

Why not run a set of both? On my Wrangler I had before my JT I ran AT tires most of the year and swapped on a second set of rims with Mud tires for when I was going to do any off-roading or hunting. Thinking about doing the same with my new Gladiator.

YUP - I run my stock tires in the summer - number one, because I own them and they do the job in good weather. I run Falken A/Ts on other rims in the winter - they have the snowflake (not to be confused with some people) emblem on the sidewall - and are rated better for snow, ice and crud like we have.
In the future when the stock tires need to be replaced, I'll buy more aggressive tires for those rims and switch as desired. It takes minutes to swap wheels/tires around (granted these big tires take SPACE in the garage! I had to sell and give away some things to make space but my friend in Indiana was thrilled to get the engine I gave him)

That adds considerable cost and you need to have a place to keep the second set. I definitely don't have any room for a whole other set of wheels/tires.

I've always been a fan of Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've been able to put almost 50K miles on each set I've owned over the years.

The one issue I've encountered with Nitto's after about 3/4 life they start to really wonder on the highway, to the point they used to make my JK dart all over. It was less so on my F150, but still an issue. It didn't stop me from making future purchases though, I just had to change them out at about 40k instead.

I have a set of Firestone MT/2 on the JT, and I'm really happy with those. For a MT, they ride pretty smooth, with the expected whirring of a mud tire. The upside is they are superior off pavement.

Go with the AT. My dad's JKU came with MT tires. That thing was so loud on the road. Swapped with a set of ATs when the wore out and the difference is crazy

AT's are more suitable for all around use. Here is So Cal...what's mud??? Coopers have always lasted the rated 60-70,000 miles. Some AT's are mild and some have an aggressive tread. I've ran Cooper's quite a bit.
