A little good news..... The restriction came off last night so we can see how many were ordered. There are 534 pieces on order with 1,440 inbound so everyone that currently has an order will be filled. Showing an ETA of 10/21/20 for shipping on orders placed today. Pretty confident we’ll all have them by the end of the month.

Is that ONLY those ordered directly from the Mopar site or dealers, or does that include resellers like BAM and Benny and others who sell Mopar parts at discount??
A lot of members went through the resellers - at a discount, and not through "Mopar proper" or a dealer.

Just spoke to the friend of mine who is a service manager at our local Jeep dealership. He checked my order and as was reported a few responses above it is listed as in transit with ETA of 10/21/2020. Fingers crossed!! Installation looks easy enough. Then have to have computer flashed by dealer to link it up.

I'll wait for a month or two and hopefully my dealership will have a chance to install a couple before they use my truck as the test bed. I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks and if there are any installation hiccups. It integrates into the UConnect, right?

We can assume that, but so far, no one KNOWS for a fact - not that's posted here.
So we ASSUME.
jscan shows nothing in that area to tweak, so maybe it's completely a dealer setting or it simply doesn't integrate.
Nothing in any marketing materials say either way.

Hence why I want to wait and see. I'm not expecting to pull anything for at least a few months anyway so I don't need it. And I have an Echo that I got when I bought the truck so it'll suffice for a while. I'll be watching this thread though, and it's good to finally see some progress from FCA.

Yup - all of my distant car shows were postponed until next year, I have no real reason to haul my trailer, let alone with a car on it - and I have the Redarc installed and working. So, I'm going to watch..........
I did go ahead and order the Mopar one - if it integrates, GREAT, if not, I guess that's ok, too - I'll put it in my JT and move the Redarc to the new Grand Cherokee
(if that new GC ever gets done touring North America on rail car. It's been cruising around the country for 2 weeks so far - hope it enjoys seeing the USA by rail. Maybe it's viewing the Alaskan interior right now and if so, I'm a bit envious as I wanted to make that trip again, too. )
The Grand Cherokee has a tow package (and a GREATER TOW RATING than my JT) so it will need a controller just in case.

I found this in the JSCAN app (on Android) this morning, might be related to the Mopar trailer brake module we're looking forward too?

I asked my dealer today if they could order it and they said not yet, maybe Monday.
