Interesting - I noticed no difference in the PS assist or "feedback", only less wander, not drastic change but yes, better.
Had no real play in mine so obviously I wasn't going to see a night and day difference.
But the feel - the assist, that sort of thing - no change. It does feel like it wants to return to center better. I might be trying to compare to my wife's Grand Cherokee with rack and pinion - that's FAST, quick, tight steering. You don't dare move that wheel or you are turning.

Seeing all of these more recent posts - wow, am I REALLY glad I went right in the first few days this was available. Normally I put things off - sure glad I didn't on this one!
Maybe it is just my imagination. My girlfriend drives it 90% of the time.

Semantically speaking, this statement does not explicitly say that the TSB should not be done - it merely says that the TSB might not address the issue...
EXACTLY - but you know some dealers - if they balk at one that's "out of norm" like a higher lift, whatever, then if it was ME, personally, I'd try this - "I'll sign a document stating that I understand this may not totally resolve any issues I am currently experiencing with the steering/handling of this truck" - well, some attorney could run circles around me/that, but I'd sure give it a shot.

Who knows - unless someone can flip a switch like they do with eye exams, it can be tough to tell sometimes. The mind is a powerful thing as far as suggestion, whatever.
If you are happy - that's all that matters - no, take that back, if your GIRLFRIEND is happy....

If your truck was built before August 2020, it does NOT have the black steel housed steering gear unless it was REPLACED. ALL in 2019 and all until mid-August 2020 were the aluminum steering gear. Period.
Check the TSB for the part number. The JT uses only ONE number steering gear for the purposes of this TSB.
Again, if you have the black steel steering gear and your truck was built in 2019 there is no way it has the steel steering gear, it has the aluminum gear.
Check the PART NUMBER on your steering gear to be sure and report back here.

The REPLACEMENT is steel, the ORIGINAL is aluminum.
These are the part numbers for the new/replacement steering gear -

1 (AR) 68507569AA Gear, Steering - Four Door, Left Hand Drive (JL)
1 (AR) 68507571AA Gear, Steering - Two Door, Left Hand Drive (JL)
1 (AR) 68507576AA Gear, Steering - Left Hand Drive (JT)

If you actually have 68507576AA then your steering gear has already been replace and is NOT original to the truck - if built prior to August 2020

Do not go by color alone - check the PART number.
Thank you!!

I'm in the same boat. My local dealership (Razzari Jeep in Merced Ca) completely sucks.
Three weeks ago I talked to the Service Manager (Debra) about the TSB and my issues. After a 1 1/2 hr wait, she told me she would order the parts and I would be called when the parts came it. Last Friday I got that call and scheduled the work for Monday of this week. An hour after dropping it off, the Service Advisor tells me that Debra the Service Manager is no longer with the dealership, and the new Sevice Manager is questioning my need to do the TSB. After 10min of arguing on the phone, I called Jeep customer service yesterday and opened a claim but am still waiting for them to call me back. Meanwhile, the dealership called me last night and apologizes after speaking to their regional service manager. However, now this morning another problem...the new Service Manager is now saying that my front 2" leveling lift and 37" A/T tires mean that my JT's warranty under the TSB is void. That's some BS right there. He says "it's out of spec as per the TSB". I had swapped the M/T tires for A/T tires, paid for an alignment (which the shop says is spot on yet it still pulls and wonders), put on a SkyJacker dual steering stabilizer, and an adjustable track bar; before I knew of the TSB in efforts to fix it...now these attempted fixes are voiding my ability to get the TSB? I just want the darn thing to steer right before I let my wife or 16yr kid drive it.

They’re saying your lift voided the updated TSB that specifically mentions lifts are ok? ( “professionally installed within spec or something like that “)

yeah, the 2" lift and that I took the stock 33 mud tires off and put 37 all terrain tires on it; also, that those two things will "flag" me in their system as having my drivetrain and steering warranty voided.

Sorry - MOPAR sells those lifts, DEALERS install them. Dealers even install them on factory-new inventory before they even sell them. They also sell those tires here - the dealer does, and they install them. So what your dealer is saying is that Jeep SELLS AND INSTALLS accessories that will render your warranty null and void for drivetrain and steering? .LOL - that's great.
That is yet another dealer that's full of bull dung.
Tell them that you will flag them as being a bad dealer, rate them all 0s if you ever get a survey and complain to Jeep customer service. Also review them on Google, Fakebook, whatever. Let them know that ou spread the word when dealers refuse to honor Jeep warranties and vehicles with Jeep parts.
They alwoys beg and plead with me - oh please oh please rate us a 10 when you get that survey, we must have all 10s!

Update to mine: originally took it in on Aug 25th to get looked at. They agreed that it needed it, and stated they ordered.

September, 1 month after, they never ordered it (stated they did, but it never shipped) and stated i am 8th on the list. (this is after multiple calls, and calling the service manager)

October - checked in, stated it would be a couple more weeks

November - called, asked where i was on list, and they would get back to me. no one called

Today- contacted parts department, guy called back and stated that the box is on a campaign hold, until mid December.

No clue if this is accurate, but pretty frustrated with dealership

Dealership is Faricy boys out of Colorado springs. Sales is great, service is complete crap, i do not recommend them

BTW - i PM'd @JeepCares here, they didnt care either, told me to work with dealership

Well fellas. I just dropped of my jeep for this issue. Did not go as I expected. Well I take that back. My service advisor was your typical "know all the answers" type of guy. He was already starting to blame the Mopar Lift that I purchased thru the dealership and was assured it would not void any warranty. SMH. So lets see what happens. Have any of you faced this and what have you countered with? Thanks in advance. So stressful for no reason. All I want is to get my Jeep to drive like it was supposed drive.
Hi @alx_glad,

Just heard back from my dealer, here is their exact quote:

Chrysler has now put a hold on any part for this steering TSB until December. We are not sure on release date and what they will be doing after that. You are 4th on our list and we will let you know once parts have arrived.
