I mounted my rotopax mounts and storage case on my cargo rack but the cargo rack only had the two smaller pre drilled holes for the mount instead of the other four holes. Im not sure how I feel about it and might eventually drill holes so I can mount the storage cases vertically instead. It hangs over the edge of the bed a little more then I'd like but idk maybe it will grow on me.

Yes, the prerunner lights are apart of the deflector. Its the AVS Aeroskin deflector.

There is one advantage I can think of. If you cut a 2x8 correctly for a snug fit, it is a bit unruly to get in and out, especially if you have tonneau cover tracks in the way. The 2x4s are just easier and lighter to handle.
But yes, you can absolutely do a 2x8 and rip it.

The 2x4s are indeed easier to get in and out - a wider board has to be removed or inserted perfectly level.
Also - I've used just ONE when I have things I don't want to slide forward in the bed but may want longer things back there at the same time and don't want a full width board sticking up. The 2x4s give me more options, easier to store, etc. and you can sand and smooth and paint them to look as nice as metal.

What kind of cover is that on the door hinges?

Those amazon plastic ones. They bond pretty good if you wipe the paint with a cotton ball with some iso alcohol on a hot day and then stick. I'm curious to to see how they hold up over the winter.

Just curious but why didn't you put the Torex bolts back into the empty winch cover plate holes. It would look a lot cleaner if you did. But to each his own.
