Added my 1st Christmas gift. AVS aero skin bug shield. I like bug shields and have had them on almost every truck I ever have owed way back to when they were a flat 90° piece of plastic.

Let us know how effective it is with bugs and flying rocks. Do you notice any difference in how much is on the windshield.

I just installed an X4 and te roll top is a tight fit between the right and left tracks - like not even 1/16" between the aluminum track and the plastic segments that lay down in the tracks. It seems like too tight a fit to be able to install the tonneau adapters under a rack. Can you describe the fit and any problems that you encountered? I'd love to do the same to mine-if I can make it fit.
I think I had that problem.. if I remember, I went back and shimmed the plastic tabs on the side the instructions said to remove, I think tightening the bolts made the rails angle in at the top a little bit and effectively narrow the distance between the tracks.
second thing was I loosened then retightened all the bolts with the cover in place in between the rails.
This meant crawling in the bed underneath the closed cover with a headlamp on in order to tighten the front bolts.
It worked, my cover has been perfectly easy to open and close.

Finally got the winch installed. Had to cut the bumper a little. It... is a bit disjointed on each side, and I misplaced the fairlead spacer so need a new one. Going to have the whole thing repainted by a pro, the DIY wasn't too great and was worsened by cutting. But it is on and working. Finally.

I had some water sitting in the bases of my fog lights after a long trip with the snow. Spent some time disassembling the front end and trying to dry them out with a heat gun...they dried out eventually. While I was working my wife had ordered dinner and the door dash guy popped his head into the garage and asked if I needed help. Readers digest version hes apparently a mechanic and had an idea for a fix. So I went for it. Drilled a small hole in the base of the fog light housing to allow the water to drain of it settles in there again. we will see if it works!

Rokblokz on the front. I have them for the back, but didn't have time to install, and it was too cold. They stick back more than expected, but worth it because 98 percent of my tire is covered.

if you are talking OEM lights, that should not happen at all, it’s a warranty issue and they’ll replace them, it shouldn’t happen again, water intrusion is not typical on these whatsoever.

Got it Saturday but today I put rugged ridge door sills on because somehow in 2020 this isn't standard.... this jeep had everything I wanted and was bascially loaded but some strange way didn't have proximity key...so got that on order and got in line for those....

im %100 certain it was because of the aftermarket LEDs I put in. They likely didnt seal appropriately.

Great looking stance. What's your setup here? Tire size? Lift? Rubi suspension? Leveling kit? Type of spacers? Thanks!
Thanks! retained max tow rear coils but added a 3/4” (daystar) spacer to them. Rubicon fox shocks all around, rubicon coils up front with 1.5” (alloy) spacer. 35x12.50 r17 bfg MTs on stock rubicon wheels but recently added 1.5” wheel spacers.

Today I finished installing my front facing camera (with a rca switcher to switch between camera and Nintendo switch) and a fuse box in my interior to the ignition wire so I don’t need to keep running wires to the engine bay.

I added a second tow hook to my JT Sport. Made a template of the drivers side after removing the hook. Flipped the template, cut the hole and bolted the new hook on. Nice add until I figure which bumper I want.
