Anyone using the Synergy brace with the new steering gearbox? Notice a difference?

I'll reply because I'm bored. I have the Synergy brace for the track bar, but have not installed the sector shaft brace. I don't think I would notice a difference. Steering is already pretty tight.

I left my synergy brace in place with track bar connected. Did not see the point in reinstalling the steering brace. Why? Because I wasted $250 on a part I don’t think I need now! Lol! Maybe things will loosen up after some miles and my thoughts will change. I hope not because I like the way it drives now.

The dealership reinstalled my brace after they upgraded the steering box. I don't see any reason to remove it.

I had the track bar and brace but had the steering box replaced prior to installing both. After the repair, it's perfect so I shipped the bar and brace back as I don't think it will change a thing.

My steering got loose and wanders again after 2k miles post TSB. The fault I think is in the joint where the steering box and drag link meet as well as flex in the drag link.

Took it to dealer and tru to form they blamed my “excessive” lift and tires (2.5” Clayton on 37” tires). They wouldn’t even consider why stock parts were moving at the steering box but not at the drag link/knuckle joint (all stock).

I put in the steering brace last week and it took about 50% of the wander away. Installing RPM Steering 2.5 ton tie rod and drag link soon and will hopefully cure the rest.

My theory is there are 3 causes of bad steering: slop in the gear box, slop in the steering arm/drag link joint and flex in the drag link. Will be a few weeks before I get the RPM kit installed.

Please let us know what you think. Do you think if we are having issues this early in the game what do you think these parts will feel like at 50,000 miles. And to think I traded in a cherry of a JK. Man if I could turn back the clock.

I have both installed. Belt and suspenders. No problems and nice wander-free steering.

I took mine off for the TSB work and reinstalled after about a week of driving without it. The TSB cleaned up the dead zone and the brace shored up the tracking down the highway some. I haven't done tie rod/drag link yet, but intend to.
