Would completed TSB work show up on a Carfax report? I bought my truck used and there is nothing showing.

No, I don't think it would since it is not a repair. The easiest way to determine is to look at the box as discussed in the last page or so and check the part numberWould completed TSB work show up on a Carfax report? I bought my truck used and there is nothing showing.
If it was me, I would find another dealer. Either he flat out made shit up and/or is just delusional in believing any of that nonsense.Stopped by my dealer today to ask about the steering. They did a quick test drive and said "I'll be blunt with you, I felt the wander, but it's because of your lift and tires (Mopar 2" and 37s). I'll do the TSB if you want, but it won't fix your issue. I inquired on how the Mopar suspension lift could cause steering wander and he said "well, it's the tires, you have to lift it to add the tires. The sidewall flex in the tires causes the wander."
"The guy that leaked the TSB has already been charged and fired, but I'll order it for you and have the parts in about two months (a few people ahead of me in line). "
He also said that once he ordered it, I couldn't go to another dealer for the TSB, as the parts were linked to my VIN.If it was me, I would find another dealer. Either he flat out made shit up and/or is just delusional in believing any of that nonsense.
I really hate smug ass dealerships like this.
Any Jeep dealer can run your VIN and tell which TSB's, if any, have been completed on your truck.Would completed TSB work show up on a Carfax report? I bought my truck used and there is nothing showing.
I called my dealer and his first question was "are you experiencing any symptoms?"Any Jeep dealer can run your VIN and tell which TSB's, if any, have been completed on your truck.
No, not everyone is impacted, and even those that are, it varies to the degree that they are affected.I called my dealer and his first question was "are you experiencing any symptoms?"
Is not every vehicle affected? I mean it's a Jeep so it wanders on the highway by nature. It wanders a bit worse than my JKU did but I have no idea if it's a symptom or just "a Jeep thing".
Spoke to a different service manager today and he ordered the parts for the TSB. Said they will be here February 20 and that there are a few people ahead of me. It’s crazy that it basically just depends which service manager you talk to. You would think (and hope) that all service managers at the dealership are up to speed on all things MOPAR, considering it is their job.Tell them try again. IF they changed any parts, they must list said parts. T
hey didn't so much as change a bolt. You then sign the paper that shows the work done, the parts used, and they have to have that as proof in order to get their money for parts and labor from FCA/Jeep.
What they DID do was this - they did the PCM update -

I picked up my JT and it now has the correct part number. They had the JT part number that jeep cares sent, they just mixed the part numbers for a JL.Kearny Mesa Jeep - They are trying to correct it - no ETA on the correct part.
Your remote location is definitely working against you for a quick turnaround on this one. I don't know but would think there are a very limited number of Jeep dealerships in Hawaii and given the current allocation constraints and logistics of shipping parts from the mainland, your dealer is probably giving a straight-up/ realistic estimate. Jeep Cares or reaching out directly to the Jeep zone manager is your best bet.So I went in November 4th, dealer confirmed and ordered parts. Just followed up and they said I am about number 10 in line and they are receiving about 1 -2 a month for install. So, I am basically going to have to own this truck for a year before it is fixed. This is totally unacceptable. Not only that, he said if I install the 2" Mopar lift and my 35s, they won't install the steering box so I have to wait for the steering box first.... @JeepCares, any help?
If you have the issue, you will know.I called my dealer and his first question was "are you experiencing any symptoms?"

Dealers pick service test drive routes so they won't have accidents and insurance claims. A coffee run would tell them more.I tried a dealer close to me for the repair and they test drove it and said, "did not detect any issues",
I could see right threw them that they didn't want anything to do with dealing with the issue.I bought this Gladiator sept 2019 and never had any vehicle drive like this one on the highway and I've own all kind of trucks and previous jeeps.
So I ended up going back to selling dealer on dec. 15th the tech drove it and said very minimal wandering, but I know for a fact they didn't even drive it on the high way.
Surprisingly they agreed to go ahead and order the parts, I was shocked and thrilled. 2 weeks later I followed up kind of thinking parts are going to be bit a wait and service rep. puts me on hold then comes back, oh ya, we got your parts in, no call letting me know thanks, however I was just happy to have them in so quickly. Scheduled service date is this wed the 6th.
I really feel for anyone not getting this issue resolved or even in a timely manor.
I agree 100% it should be a recall
As much as I love jeeps and this Gladiator, not so sure about it again down the road. smh
