hmm. Id jack the tire up and measure the circumference down the center of the tread and calculate diameter. I bet you come up right under 36” for your programmer.

Here it is ! New Clayton Overland Plus kit front and rear trackbars. The new Rear track bar for the Gladiator to clear a 37" spare is on top of the pic. Definitely has a bend in it !! Yea !

I found that a (used) Mickey Thompson Deegan "38" MT in 37x12.5x17 fits perfectly on an OEM steelie. There was no drama lifting it into place and it clears the track bar with flying colors. It touches the rear hitch but it's not "jammed" against it. Fits the frame rails as well. I wasn't expecting this nice surprise 
Please note this is NOT a 38 inch tire... the model is a Deegan "38".
NOTES:
1) OEM steelie 17in
2) Mickey Thompson Deegan "38" Mud Terrain (37x12.5x17 Load D)
a. 10psi - I just picked a random low psi for install as I have an on-board compressor
b. 10/32nd tread depth (~8mm).... yes it's a used tire but not bald by any means
3) dropped my rear Clayton springs by 1/4" of lift (guessing this wheel combo is ~130lb?)

3.5" Clayton Overland Plus kit installed. Great Kit ! Top Quality. Here are some pics of the track bar installed, but, with my 33" spare. I will update in a few days when I get my 37s.

So I just fit Patagonia 37x12.50r17. 17x8.5 wheel. I aired it down to 10 psi.
With that, the tire has 1/4" gap to the track bar. Is this OK?
I don't know the suspension mechanism and how track bar moves.

Does anyone know if a Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 37x12.5x17 mounted on the OEM steel wheel will fit? Online specs show the overall diameter to be 36.8".

Looking to get some Black Rhino Dugger wheels (17x8.5 w/ 4 inch backspace) with some 37x12.5 Nitto ridge grapplers. Is that a good fit? The tire stuff kinda confuses me.

The Goodyear Wrangler MTR Kevlar 37x12.5x17 will clear the new Clayton Track bar, but, it will not fit in between the frame rails on a 17 x 8.5 Method bead grip rim. We (the guys at Discount/America's tire and me) could not get it to fit flat on the bottom of the bed mount - even with 6 psi. In the end, I decided to just use the Patagonia MT 37" as a spare because you can squeeze it between the frame rails at 8 psi or so on a 17x8.5 rim. I really wanted the spare flat against the bed mount.
So, I have 4 Goodyear 37 inch MTRs with a Patagonia 37 inch MT spare.
