curious why you went with lower outer corner instead of upper outer corner? Have spot mirrors on my JKU, and after a couple of hundred miles in the new JTS, I'm feeling the need for spot mirrors.

It just feels right to me. Look around and you'll see that there's all sorts of placement.
A word of caution, if you buy these, it's not a foam block on back. The pad is recessed in the mirror so it fits flush, and is a 3M red adhesive. You get one shot. One.

I don't think so in the Quadratec brand. You can buy locks from others such as Gorilla or McGard.

I had several shops in my area but they would not install Dana Spicer gears, not return calls, or I was not comfortable with their installer.

@chevymitchell on the Wrangler forums made a series of videos on how to properly install gears and was so detailed in the videos explaining all the steps in a way that an inexperienced person could easily understand that I decided to reach out and have him regear mine.

It really was, the bend of the cable kept causing it to rotate after I positioned it. I used some black silicone on the back side to hold it in place in the tube.

I need to find some sort of a torque spec for the screws that go into the bed walls, but it's in place anyway. Got cold and dark again so didn't clean up or finish things completely.

I used tape on the bed to find the hole locations, made holes in the tape where the bed holes were, transferred to the tape to the back of these rails.
I then used existing holes in the rail to determine dead-center and set the fence on my drill press table in my wood shop and drilled the holes.
PERFECT FIRST TIME. The holes were spot-on, once I got the rails up in place I could see the bed holes centered perfectly in the holes I made in these rails.

Well not quite what I did today but yesterday ordered a RSI topper generation #2 since they have gen 3 out and starting to ship them. Getting a good deal on it, and should be delivered soon. A double win.

they are in pataskala ohio, had them do my lift. dealership said if they installed it it wouldnt lose any warranty. thats who does lifts and such for dealership i used
