I just want to buy different wheels for my soon-to-be-delivered Mojave. I understand Mojave's have a different offset than other Glads to accommodate the wider shocks. I've read other threads on this forum that cover this topic, but I still am confused. Just for example, there is this formula posted on the JL forum to explain the JLUR wheel offset:
"The outer width of the wheel is 8 3/4" (7.5" inner). A zero offset for this is 4 3/8". The backspace is 6 1/8". The result is 6 1/8" - (8 3/4" / 2) = 1 3/4" or 44.45mm offset"
What kind of math major does it take to buy a wheel? I can't seem to find wheels online sold with a 44.45mm offset. This basic wheel, for example, is listed with a -6 offset. Will the linked wheel work on a Mojave? In simple terms, what offset do I need to know when buying wheels for my Mojave? Please help!
