Waiting on approval. I'm guessing you went to a different dealer than I did. ?
My approval took 2 weeks or so, and now it’s looking like 4 weeks for the shipment. The whole process is pathetically slow.

Dropped my JT off today to get the steering gear replaced. The window showed up as well so its off to the glass guys tomorrow for replacement. We will see if it solves the problem. I'll keep you posted.

First the back sliding glass shattered now the entire back window is leaking from the black trim at the top. Only thing not leaking is my plexiglass fix for the sliding piece which shattered on its own. (Probably another micro fracture issue) I don’t remember optioning in a swimming pool in our 61k launch edition...

That is exactly what mine looked like while driving in the rain to the dealer to have the window replaced!

Well......I just got a call from the dealer, apparently the glass did NOT make it to the dealer yet so the ETA now is the first week in April. And so it begins.....

Mine just went in this morning for the diagnostic appointment. I worked with JeepCares and got a case number. They are supposed to be coordinating with the dealership to make things go smoother. I will report back as it progresses.
Rear glass replacement was approved today. Took 1 week for approval. New part is ordered and I am told to expect 2 weeks for delivery.

Let us know how that goes. A lot of people have been saying the wait for the new glass is getting into the months of waiting

Dropped the Gladiator off at the dealer this morning for it's first oil change, the window leak and the rear locker sensor issue. They should get back to me with the plan this afternoon.

Was suppose to have my appointment today at the dealership to get mine looked at. I was called late yesterday by them and it seems they use a third party company that comes out and does all their water leak testing. Never heard of such a thing but I am rescheduled for next Wednesday.

I just need to find out more about this third party company that does the leak testing for them. I do not want a hack job where they find the leak and their "fix" is to just stuff a bunch of RTV around the window edges and not do a proper window and seal replacement.
Mine has joined the group, I noticed it leaking recently and found pooling behind the rear seat. I have an appointment in a couple weeks (soonest they could get me in) to get that and a few other things taken care of.

Here's hoping its smooth, and and quick as can be.
I agree. Every dealership I call and ask is playing dumb. “This is the first time we’ve heard of this issue.” This is unacceptable.
@jeep recall this back window and look into why so many are shattering on their own. I’m beyond upset with how they’re avoiding responsibility
I've been having this issue since Oct. 20.

I could not get my dealership (closest 40 mls away) to get me any 411 on a fix.

Finally, I found this thread in Feb. and JeepCares got involved.
Suddenly I dealership had a window on order (to arrive in about a week), that was 3 weeks ago!
Again crickets...

I finally installed some FlexSeal tape on the cab & glass to seal it from the top and prevent water from coming in.

It sucks, because I live on a ski resort, by carpet and all the stuff under my seats have been wet for months and to the point that some of the bolts and the top have rust stains inside the cab.

Plus, I'm 3 weeks from leaving on a 6 week trip. Seriously a cluster.
Glad to see everyone’s having to play the wait game. Took mine in for a leak in the glass in early February. They sent me to a glass specialist because they don’t do the repair in house. I left the truck there because it was a 50 minute drive and was easier with work. Told me it’d be a week max. Finally call me back last monday(almost a full month) and had just gotten approval to order the glass, micro fracture issue, and claimed it’d be in this week. Just got off the phone with them today, now they’re saying April 8th! Thankfully the dude with the glass shop is an alright guy and stuck it in the stall for me because we got 2 inches of rain in 2 days last week. I don’t have a garage so got kinda lucky in that aspect, but now I’m thinking I better go get my truck before summers over and I’m still waiting...

Hi, all! I tried to grab everyone that sounded like a current concern and I do apologize for the delay in my response. That said, if anyone is still experiencing concerns or would like to discuss further with us, please send a private message and we will get with you as soon as possible.

I have the leak as well, just reached out to Jeep cares as my dealer is deceitful. Be thankful if you have a dealer near by you can count on.

Jeep Cares will assign your case to a Jeep Wave representative. Mine is Maria. She called me yesterday to let me know my part which was expected in this week is delayed another couple weeks.

Worked with my dealer - Landmark Jeep and they had to take pictures today, but it was approved same day. New glass on the way and basically have to wait for a glass company to install it. Pretty painless, but it seems the rear glass leaking is a manufacturing defect for sure.

It’s my turn in the (wet) barrel.
I called to make an appointment, and the Service Rep acted like he had never heard of the problem.
Here’s hoping the actual visit is productive...
