I attacked no one, I from experience have had a modified Jeep that the dealer refused to honor warranty or even look at for an issue that turned out to be a manufacturing defect.
Sorry, my bad. I thought you were attacking him.

2021 Jeep Gladiator Diesel. ESC, Limp Mode, and all sorts of electrical issues. 6 weeks at dealer still not fixed. Jeep won't buy back. at wits end with what to do.

2021 Jeep Glad ESC error.webp
What dealer is the JT at? (I'm in the Tampa area also) Have you considered having it towed to another dealer? I'm sure that @JeepCares would consider fostering that process if your current dealer is struggling to resolve your issue.

Normally, @JeepCares will engage with dealership service dept and link them up with a factory tech subject matter expert.

True, and that's common customer service/care practice for many auto manufacturers. The question is whether or not they will send an SME to the dealer, or just get them in touch via phone and email? In my experience, not all dealers are created or staffed equally, and the info being relayed to the SME (if they aren't physically there) is all subject to the knowledge and experience of the tech that's taking the lead on the issue. At a certain point though, a second set of eyes can be helpful. This especially holds true when the amount of time out of service is extensive (customer appreciates a fresh look at the vehicle, some extra time is bought so SMEs can continue their quest for answers, etc.). Though I've never worked for Jeep, I previously worked for corporate GM handling and monitoring escalated issues related to service and sales across the US. More often than you would think, a second set of eyes proved valuable. Though it was not a "go to" per se, there were times when we had the vehicle towed to another dealer at the customer's request or at the recommendation of the area service manager (corporate GM) for that region. They knew which dealers were better at handling complex troubleshooting/diagnostics when another dealer had hit a wall. Just my $.02- not saying it's right or wrong.

yes i purchased from a reseller however the full factory warranty is in effect. yes they have taken off accessories(only lighting) and checked the steering and dampers. they have replaced the PCM, new accelerator assembly and now awaiting a wiring harness which is on back order yes for weeks i'm assuming due to covid. it is frustrating as its a systemic issue which prevents the vehicle from being driven without any apparent fix or solution yet. i note i don't really want a buyback i just want it fixed as i'm a diesel guy and love the jeep. however this can seem like an insurmountable issue as 7 weeks now + and i have no jeep.

let me clarify i'm not an expert, however i'm becoming one as there's nothing like a crisis to get you involved. yes i understand the implications of the lift and other mods. this reseller sells quite a few of these without issue and they've been helpful. its at an authorized JEEP dealer and no matter the mods it is still under factory warranty and JEEP has not balked at anything related to the issues and mods. i reach out on this forum not to bash JEEP. i reach out to hopefully educate and get more knowledge and hoepfully a fix from others that may have this issue.

not a bad idea. its in Aiken, SC Jeep dealer. this dealer has been engaging, in fact the owner has been emailing me with updates. i'm waiting for a wiring harness as the next fix(new PCM under warranty(not cheap part) and new accelerator assembly). yes i've given them steering damper, vacuum pump, lift kit issues to look at however they follow their diagnostics and try to do it as methodically as they can. again i stress i have enjoyed the truck( all 1500 miles of it so far) and i'm a diesel guy with other diesels. i don't want money back but yeah it is frustrating that this appears to be an issue unrelated to mods so far and i'm hoping for more intercedence from JEEP to just get me back on the road again.

IF it is the vehicle that is in the link above, and OPs pic sure looks exactly like it, here is what is listed on the 2nd hand site:

"2021 DIESEL WILLYS GLADIATOR, JUST BUILT BY BAYSHORE AUTOMOTIVE IN SUNNY TAMPA, FLORIDA! THIS ONE IS NASTY AND READY TO TURN HEADS. WE JUST ADDED:

4" READY LIFT

FALCON SHOCKS

22X12 4PLAY WHEELS

37" FEDERAL XPLORA MTS TIRES

FAB FOUR FRONT BUMPER

FISHBONE RACK

QUAKE LED COLOR CHANGING HEADLIGHTS

3X3 LED PODS ON A PILAR BRACKETS

FALCON STEERING STABILIZER

IRON CROSS REAR BUMPER

WESTIN STEP UP BARS

NAVIGATION

REAR CAMERA

BLACK D RINGS

ACTIVE SAFETY GROUP

TECHNOLOGY GROUP

CONVENIENCE GROUP

TRAILER TOW PACKAGE

yes, it is the jeep listed. and they backed out the mods and i've given them many other leads(vacuum pump, steering damper, lift kit etc.) they're doing all they can(new PCM, accelerator assembly) and following the diagnostics. interesting aside, before this i was having backup camera issues which felt directly related as the camera stopped working also. it is a saga but such is life and i'll try to update all soon hopefully when this part gets in and the next diagnosis happens.

There are no brake line extensions with that lift. Now is it possible that the installer let the axle droop too much and tugged a line or wire too far? Absolutely.

The only electrical related items are some headlights and A-pillar lights. You really think those are on the same system as the stability control? The Jeep brake controller effecting ESC is not surprising at all, of course they're related. Given that too, it's just as much if not more likely that it's just a Jeep issue that's completely unrelated to the mods. Stuff happens on these vehicles, we see it every day on this forum.
your input is appreciated and yes i should think any mod could have a knock on effect on other parts and wiring. however one weird thing is that the backup camera wasn't working at same time this issue happened. their feeling is its a wiring issue for sure as they're seeing draw shedding but its like finding a needle in a haystack. scan revealed low power on a few things but again i'm not an expert and relying on people that should be. they did back out the mods to see and they concluded they weren't seeing mods related issues. the next step is this wiring harness which is on back order now going on 3 weeks i'm guessing from covid but without any ETA or other info, which they just say its not in without other info to give, i just can wait.

modified or stock?
Stock. Turns out there was a splitter in the brake line as my truck was towed behind a large RV. The cap split and I lost vacuum. Now I pay $400 for a new brake harness!
