still waiting for someone to try this with stock wheels.....thats the true test! if 35's will fit STOCK.....stock means stock....not aftermarket wheels.
Pretty sure 35/10.5 on stock wheels will work. I’ve seen a few on the forum running them.

waiting on 35x12.5 the cool size we all want!! since the 35x10.5 tire selection is extremely limited

I believe the factory rim is considered to narrow for 12.5. If you do mount them on a factory rim you would still probably need to run a spacer so it wouldn’t rub when turning. Height wise you would be good.

I am 110% ok with stretching the tire a little past the "manufacture's recommendations" i just don't want to find out the hard way that i'll blow off a fender under the "right" circumstance....or after the fender gets ripped off the wrong circumstance......i'm ok with a 1' spacer if thats all it would take....but its tough to find the 100% sure thing its been done.....and its a $1300 gamble for me and then it would be another few hundred on top to do a budget lift if they rub....cause obviously you can't return tires.

I have seen that thread and am a part of it.....most of those guys are running rubicons or mojaves....or if they are a willys they have added a spacer or a lift or something......no one has truly tried just taking off the factory tires and putting on bigger ones.....
Yep sorry about that I noticed you were part of that thread after I had posted it. I believe on a sport you would want to definitely run a 1 inch or more spacer up front to achieve what your wanting. You could also go with some aftermarket fenders for more clearance.

These are my old wheels with 315/70/17 and no lift. I don’t think I would have had any travel up front without ripping the flares off.

Gobi will forever be the best color.

It’s actually sting gray. It’s crazy how the light affects the color though. This picture is same parking lot with different light.

i'm curious on how much a 3/4 leveling kit would improve the gap on the front....those 315's on the stock height is exactly how a tire is supposed to look, its in the wheel well and it actually fills it up.....i'm old school and think that tires are supposed to fit inside wheel wells.

This is mine with the mopar lift and 3/4 spacer up front. I’d be curious how it would do with just a spacer on factory springs. I had thought about using rubicon take off suspension and 3/4 spacer before I did the mopar lift. I wanted to keep it a little lower but was worried I’d get into the factory fenders unless I swapped them for flat fenders.
