Are those Ace Sliders? The powder coating on mine is pretty weak, rusting, I think Im gonna sand, treat and bedline them.
These are the ACE sliders, yes, but in my case the scratches and rust were a result of trail damage. I didn't experience an issue with the original coating. I did power sand the damage and then hit the exposed metal with POR15 top coat before spraying bedliner for the texture. :like:

This and tires are my top 2 mods.

My line-x got done today. I called on 5/12, four days after ordering my JTR, got on a waiting list due to supply chain issues. Installer told me it would be 3-5 weeks, called last Friday and set an appointment. Premium coat.

Got some MORryde side mounts for the RotoPax cans.

Pretty clean install. Sandwiches down on the side rail and on the cowl bolts. Sturdy steel too.

Was also able to double it up with the extension and it clears the mirror by a 1/4”. The strap is on there as I didn’t get the deluxe mounts which give it a little extra stability, but straps also just put in a bit of security to deter a casual passerby.
I think I’ll be running it single for the most part, but going out for the weekend for the Gambler 500 Oregon so figured be good to have some extra.

Gonna be a good testing of the gear and the Gladiator. First time I have it laden down with this much gear, people and dogs. Running to the store could definitely feel the weight in the suspension. I do have the terraflex bumpstops which do a little better, but definitely will be evaluating it over these upcoming miles and take notes.

Additionally got in the 12v cigarette lighter “always on” kit installed finally. With the solar hood in now I feel safe to let it leach and charge devices.

No no no. Damnit. I’m trying my best to be happy with my 33’ then gently nudge up to 35’s.

I’ve definitely been digging your build. Still digging it, more so, but want to call out you are a bad influence, Mike with a problem.

-Aaron, also with a problem in waiting. :)

I have been running my JKS for 3 months now. I love them. Some pro tips.
1. Yours may need to be a bit longer. The shorter they are, the harder they are to take off. It's that whole angles and triangle thing. Think Trig class. The longer they are the less distance they have to go to be removed as the angle they have to be pushed is less.
2. Carry some sort of pry bar.
3. ORDER MORE of the retainer clips today. They do break and I have had to trail repair them a few times. I now carry an extra set in my Jeep at all times.
4. Level ground is your friend when you re attach. I had to have the kids bounce on a rock slider a few times to get one side on when things were not on the level.

Installed some bump stop pucks and JKS swaybar quick disconnects.

I got the tri fold Mopar hard tonneau cover and life was good. Took of my Freedom panels and went to put the bag in the bed and when you lift up the last section it will come to rest on the Back window. Metal on glass gives me the jitters so I went off to Agent Orange and procured a $5 roll of rubber weather stripping and now there is a cushion to keep the metal off my rear window.
