I have a 3.5 in RC lift. 1.75 in spidertrax spacers. I am running stock 17x7.5 in wheels. I have run Dick Cepek 315/70/17. I am currently running 37x12.50x17 General Grabbers still on stock wheels.

Did you NEED spacers, or just want to push the wheels out a bit?

I’m going to go with 37s at some point; but I tow a car hauler and a travel trailer and it just wasn’t in the budget to regear this year, so I went 35s.

I needed them with the 35s even because I am using my stock wheel. And I haven’t re-geared. Probably won’t. I do see 8th on the highway. Instead of the tazer I purchased JScan and a Vgate to dial down my shift points and etc.

I don’t tow and I don’t know what it takes to tow. I haven’t re-geared and probably will not consider it.

If you have a Max tow, Rubicon, or Mojave with the wider axles you can run up to a 12.5 wide tire and not rub with stock wheels. I ran 315 70 17 BFG KO2S with no wheel spacers on mine and had no issues at full lock. I also took the wheel spacers off when I had the 37 12.5 17 Goodyear Kevlar's installed , just the front ones and i didn't rub with those at full lock either. I have a Max Tow running my stock 17x7.5 wheels.

I haven't regeared and normally average 17.2-17.6 mpgs. Saturday the wife and I averaged 18.1 on a trip to Boone NC in the mountains And we averaged 18.3 about 4 weeks ago on a trip to the beach.

I was hoping to get away from using spacers. I like the stock wheels on the Willys. Never been a fan of using wheels spacers.

No Max tow comes with 4.10 gears. 3.73 gears are going to be a dog on 37's.
I am running stock 3.73. Around the city I am hitting 14.5. The other day I was visiting a friend 39 miles away and I was hitting 17.5. Sure, I can’t hop off the line but that’s not how I drive.

Yeah, that's about right 14.5 would be what I would think it would get on 3.73 gears. I get 17.2-17.6 around town on 37's with 4.10 gears. I would imagine it still goes but it has to search for 7th and 8th on 3.73s and I couldn't imagine towing with 3.73 gears. My buddies Overland feels like it's lost power on his 35's he's running, he's getting around 16.4 with those.
