Looks awesome! I wish they would have been released a year ago. Does it cover the bed lights?

Thanks! Me too. No, there are indents in the back of the bedrug to cut holes for the lights. They line up pretty well. I have a pic of this in my build thread if you click on the link at the top.

What was it like to install on the sides, and how does it hold up?

I have a bedrug and love it, but it goes around the wheels and doesn't go up the sides (floor and tailgate only)

Curious - never seen a 'rug' before. What advantages does it have over say Line-X?

In the linked thread, you mention for your mtn bike.I guess to keep the components from scratching the Line-X? (Also looking for a bike solution)

I'm still waiting with my fingers crossed for the 4xe Gladiator, if it appears for 2022 I'm ordering one. If it doesn't, I'll have a decision to make.

But either way, My interest in the bed rather than an SUV is for skis, bikes, dogs, STUFF.

If I need to haul gravel I'll use my 5x8' trailer, which is better suited for that kind of stuff and frankly more capable since the Jeep has a load capacity in the ~1000 lb range, but I can put 4000 lbs in my trailer.

So since the Jeep won't be hauling mulch / gravel / sand, I might as well install something like this sos stuff doesn't get beat up.

The sides just zip up to the bottom so it is pretty straight forward and it seems very durable. More pics and info. in my build thread link in my original post at the top.

No, actually to keep a line-x type liner from scratching the bike and roof panels when they slide around. It is also soft and padded so it is much nicer to crawl around loading things and sitting on the tailgate.

We love ours, or at least Atticus does; however, when I cut off a protruding bolt the cut off hot metal melted a smoldering hole completely through the material, so be careful with heat and fire.
No worries- no plans to set anything on fire anytime soon.

They claim it is plenty durable to haul gravel, rocks, etc. too. It would probably also keep your bed in better shape from dents since it is significantly thicker than a spray-on bedliner.

I'm sure it would be fine hauling gravel or sand. But then you would have to clean it pretty well so that you didn't get your bikes or skis or whatever filthy.

I'll be keeping a Dog kennel in the back of my truck also. Its always nice for the dog to have a surface they can get some grip on when he's in the back of the truck.

The Fed Ex gnomes delivered my big box of Bedrug awesomeness today as well.
Ordered it direct from the factory the first week that they began taking orders for the full Original Bedrug on May 5th.
Have it laid out on the shop floor to relax the curl out of it from being boxed up before the install when I get some extra time this week to mess with it. Will have to remove the Roll N Lock to get it installed which I knew about beforehand.

Here's a pic of the label if anyone is interested in the part number.

They claim that you can just hose it out, but I have yet to haul anything that requires that yet. I have hauled a ton of stuff over the last few days and it was super easy. Everything just slides in and out and nothing gets scratched.

so I just got mine sunday and it fits very well...I had them on other trucks before and they are durable as heck..my last one lasted 16 years on my dually and still looked good when I sold the truck. Didnt fade or stain..well worth the price of admission in my opinion...now if only I can get my A R E shell soon.

Had one on my Tundra, and loved it. Trying to convince myself I don't need one for the JT, haha!

Got mine this week too. Really excited to make the time to get it installed. Appreciate the photos and info from those who’ve installed already. Couple questions if anyone knows.

First, I have the trail tail system. When I ordered from Real Truck they explained that the bed rug is intended to be trimmed around the trail rail. I’m wondering / thinking I could just remove the trail rails and cut very small slits in the bed rug to install the trail rail back over and allow mounting screws to be reinserted. Thinking that could help reinforce connection over just Velcro. Maybe put some gorilla tape or something on the back side before cutting slits to help make sure the cuts don’t inadvertently expand over time. Thoughts anyone who has installed?

Second, I’ve not had a bed rug in previous trucks. And I understand they are advertised to be able to be vacuumed or hosed out to clean. But friends say that if they get wet it’s pretty hard to get them dry. So they have to be kind of careful storing anything in the bed if getting wet is an issue. Anyone with insight on this is appreciated. Thanks all.
