HUh, this is really interesting. I haven’t seen these. I‘m worried the sunblock I put on when my top is off is starting to mess up the plastic where I rest my arms, but it seems like something like this would be helpful.

Today I spent 1/2 day under it retightening all the suspension bolts. During a trip to drop the boy child off to collage I developed a rattle. So after all that hard work tightening all the control arms, shocks, track bar and sway bars links I still have a new rattle over bumps:mad:

I also picked up my spare from @Discount Tire. Thanks Don:like:.

I was shocked that the 38x13.5 Milestar Patagonia fit under the bed. I have the Rock Krawler Pro X lift so no track bar in the rear. I need to figure out what to do in order to not melt it. It is only 3/4" from the exhaust pipe. This is with 35PSI or so.

Want to add a steering stabilizer but the stock one feels great with how well this kit feels and the alignment shop did well too it seems. Some how drives MUCH smoother than a 1.5" teraflex lift on 33s.

Cheers!

Today, I prepped StacysMom for p/u by Vroom.
It's a sad day for sure. Made more sad by the new replacement truck that is, well, not even close in terms of creature comforts and quality feel...

Looks great. How did you do the blackout? Did you remove the letters?

thanks. For blacking out I chose to do Plasti Dip for all raised letters and emblems. First time using it and it was super easy and looks legit. Plus if you mess up it’s pretty forgiving (although I didn’t) So I didn’t remove any letters other than the actual “gladiator” stickers on the fenders under the jeep emblems. Since those are stickers I just bought new ones in black then put painters tape on two edges of the existing ones before pulling them off so I had the placement of the new ones correct.

For the grille and bumper inserts I just bought Mopar black replacements since those are a bit larger than emblems.

How did it change the driving characteristics?
I honestly can’t tell a lot of difference on the road but I drive it like a jeep and not a sports car. I went a day without a sway bar and could tell a lot of difference there. Rockjock recommended the .850 bar for the gladiator over the .770 bar they have.
