First time welding project, made a rack mounted toolbox holder. 3D printed some cleats I found on thingiverse for a Milwaukee packout toolbox and screwed them into the bottom. The toolbox gets locked in by the cleats and can be easily removed, just need to add a padlock so no one else can =)

I really wanted a side mounted toolbox that was easily accessible, once I stumbled upon the packout system mounts I figured it would be a fun project.

This is definitely a v 1.0, I need to set the cleats slightly further back so it lines up better with the toolbox mount shell.

This is interesting, it would be great if they came out with a fridge slide based on something like this so you dont have to drill into the bed.

NIce skids. Where did you get those? I looked at their site and seems made in Israel. I don't want to pay that shipping. Any US suppliers?
Too bad it won't fit in checked luggage, I'll be over there next month........... but that's a bit large to tote back in luggage, I suppose.

I actually like this better than the trail rail system, at least for my needs. Nicely done.
I did the same exact thing! The previous owner had taken out the rail system and when I bought the jeep there were just bolt holes. I'm an amazon addict so I found those large hold downs and some smaller ones that I mount all over the place as well that are square. I am also looking at some metal peg boards on amazon that people use to hang tools. I am thinking of using them as trail door fillers for the openings and molle panels for the bed and bed rack i am thinking of building.

Installed an ADD Stealth Fighter bumper and combo off road/fog lights.
Doing this stuff was a lot easier before I got old!

Looks good with the matching rear I installed a couple months ago.

I want to do a version of that vertical stripe with the star - is that vinyl?
Yes, it's a factory option that is applied over the paint, so I believe it is vinyl. I think Jeep has some other designs that you can order (or, of course, just make your own design).
