I trimmed about 3/8" from the edge off of the Hard Rock LCA skid plate. I then trimmed the Metal Cloak FAD skid plate on a radius so the LCA bolt would not hit that skid plate.

Exactly what i needed. Have a JLUR but our front undercarriages are the same. Have these same parts to add plus rear LCA skids.

Put on the Mopar longer LCA’s out front. Simple job I did from the floor wheels on. Drove the bolts out with a center punch and they slid out nice.
HARDEST part was hitting 190ft lbs with a torque wrench since I don’t have an impact torque stick that goes that high. 190 is no joke 2 clicks at a time from your back.

Got my MetalCloak Undercloak skids in the mail!

Got the parts inspected and laid out for install and managed to get the engine skid mounts installed. It was “easy” with just 4 bolts to swap, but access to that spot sucks.

The rest seems like it should be a quick mount.

Awesome parts tho. I thought it was all 3/16”, but the engine plate is 1/4” and quite hefty. Also put in a fumoto engine drain valve with a nipple to make those oil changes way less messy and running down the skid.

Need to head to the hardware store tho for a few bits as I broke all the Christmas tree plastic retainers for the fender liners. I usually never lose more than one. This time I lost all but one.

But back to the workday grind, more parts arrive later and will button it up today and tomorrow.

Yeah I got my longer controls arms yesterday and attempted to do it but I was unable to breakthe bolts loose so I will have to take it to the hobby shop on base to get under it and hopefully they will have a torque wrench big enough. How does it drive after you put them in?

Sure, you are looking for the F106
The following letters are for the end valve type.
S-short nipple
N-long nipple
No letters is the standard no nipple.
I got the short nipple and the hose kit for it.

Only had a chance to take it down the road and I didn’t notice a difference. With the 2” lift it was really sold as a “nice to have” vs a need. It honestly drove fine prior, this was more of a “why not” project. Glad I did it however because I’m swapping my front to Clayton 2.5” springs which take it from “nice to have” to really should have them territory.

Mine removed much trouble. I did however have a impact gun with a wrench on the other side. It would have been difficult without due to the limited operating space.
