Super bummed as I made an amateur mistake. :headbang: I forgot to lock down one of my freedom tops and it went flying and rolling down the road. Debating if I can see if I can get it repaired or if I can try to find a good used one. If anybody knows a source other than eBay let me know. I mean at least for right now it's fully functional but I worry about water getting into the fiberglass. I guess I'm lucky I recently vinyl wrapped it as that protected it a little.

Personally id just sand it with fine grit sandpaper to smooth it out, then get mopar color matches touch up for the white, and spray black for the top.

The damage seems purely cosmetic. Considering you have a basket on top of your hard top already its just a matter of time before ya get a scrape or scuff using it. Plus the connection points that grip onto your rain gutters have probably already left a mark there.

im saying its not the first and wont be the last scar the jeep gets. Just makes for a good story for the boys.

I originally thought about that but that last corner panel actually looks like it's about to break off so it's just hanging by some thread. Yeah the other scrapes aren't too bad I could probably sand and paint over those. I'm trying to reach out to a paint and body guy I know to see what he could do. My only concern for the time being is the exposure of the fiberglass to the elements.
On a whole other note, ironically I just ordered the bestop sunrider last night. Either way it bugs me that this panel is like this. But yeah I could be far worse. Someone could have have been hit by the flying panel.

Thanks for the heads up. My only concern is that mine is actually painted white so I would have to get that and then repaint it anyways. The cost of just repairing and painting this would be far less . Too bad they weren't closer to me.

Update: thanks to vinyl wrap and paint protection film that I had laying around I kind of just covered everything up. My main concern is just protecting it until my bestop comes in. I'm still going to try to find a body guy to see if he can repair it and paint it but I'm not going to make it on the top of my priority list since I was going to swap it out anyways for the bestop sunrider

So a while back I installed the iron rock 2” spacer lift. It was fine but with added weight on other mods I have done the factory springs were very compressed and I could feel simple bumps in the road hitting my bump stops.

I cannot afford the full lift I want at the moment but wanted better springs. I ordered Clayton 2.5” springs and installed them today.

I removed the spacer I installed prior with the iron rock kit, but I left in the shock extensions etc.

It now rides at the hight the spacer should have given me, it raised the front 2” and 3/4” and the rear about 3/4”. Springs are no longer compressed. Ride feels smooth and absorbs the bumps on the road much better, hardly notice them.

hoping by 2023 I’ll be able to do the full on suspension, rims and tires I want. In the meantime this is working out well for a moderate budget lift. ( which also means I do have rubi springs up for grabs ?.

Install door sill guards, B2 Fabrication Exhaust and finally after a long night in the garage I was able to get the Mopar Auxiliary Switches installed. What a PIA that was! Now just waiting on my Lux Lights and picking up steel to custom fab a Bed Rack.

Swapped out my Williys wheels with some new JTR take offs. I kind of miss the noise of the Firestone MT’s. But the 33’s looks better.

Nice! Do you have a side view? Also how much lift did you net in the rear?

Paramount inner fenders.

I chopped my fenders and needed inners.

After looking at just about everything, I just couldn’t find a liner I liked. Just too much bling or metal or whatever. I finally found some liners that are like factory that I didn’t know existed. Super easy install and factory look. At $150 (just the fronts) it seems a bit expensive for what they are but that seems the norm these days.

Looks like I might need a bit more lift in the rear. As it is now I have a 3/4” spacer back there. Some pics

I can get a side view tomorrow, just got done driving her around, does way better on humps, potholes etc, kinda feels like it’s floating on the highway but the steering and such feels stock I’m really happy with them springs, netted about 3/4” in rear, the rear factory springs did not squat as much so the iron rock spacer lift did lift it.

but I am really happy with the Clayton springs.
