Anyone take advantage of the wild resale values?

I get a little sad when I think about how different my kid's childhoods are from my own. I grew up in rural Utah and was never inside my house. My kids live in the city and meet their "friends" in Fortnite lobbies. I remember being excited about Christmas beginning in early February because getting toys wasn't as easy as a finger manipulation on my phone in the Amazon app... My kids get junk all year long and have a hard time making a Christmas list. I guess it's my fault.... I'm going to go yell at my kids to play outside.

Same, the one thing I miss about my 19 1500 was the 5.7 hemi. That thing was nice man. Prob my favorite engine in the past few years.

Not a JT, but we traded our ‘17 Renegade Trailhawk two weeks ago. Same dealer, 2 years later, 18k more miles, and got 3k more than we paid for it. We purchased a ‘21 JLU 4xE as it’s replacement. Pretty crazy.

I had a Ram 1500 EcoDiesel through two winters, traded it for $4k more than I gave for it. Brought home this new Gladiator EcoDiesel for 6% under invoice. Now six months later I'm being offered what I gave for this JT to get back into a full size again. It's tempting!

I love the Jeep. It's such a unique, fun, cool vehicle to own and play with. Very nicely equipped also, with every single feature I want and actually use. If the cab was just...bigger...

I can't think of what I would replace it with, but I have somewhat thought of it.
I had a 1999 Ford Ranger that I sold in this market. My (half-assed) plan was to buy something else in a manual to replace it, which was 2 months ago....because the prices are so high I may not replace it. I have a 2015 BMW M235i that I've thought about selling, but what would I replace it with....?

TTRS or RS5 for the auto win…..

It’s how I got my gladiator. Traded my 18 JL for 5k more than I paid for it new and got my pretty loaded rubi for 47k.

The truck struggles. Then once you go full size you’ll miss going off roading and taking the top down or being able to reach into the bed without climbing. Never ending cycle.

Saw a Ram Rebel in Sedona, AZ on Greasy Spoon. Was in front of our group of 5 JTs. As he went up the steepest, longest, rocky hull he tore off his side steps. Funny thing he had more ground clearance than my JTRD on 35s

Traded my 20 Ram Laramie for my 22 Mojave. Got a massive trade offer on it and made a 60K JTM much more affordable. Yep, loved that Ram with the hemi too! Just too big for me at this point in my life.

My Mojave is a completely different animal and I enjoy every minute behind the wheel!

Decided to keep my Mojave and got rid of my 2021 Subaru STI. I was given 10k more for my STI than I paid for it a year ago. Crazy market.

Traded my 20 Ram Laramie for my 22 Mojave. Got a massive trade offer on it and made a 60K JTM much more affordable. Yep, loved that Ram with the hemi too! Just too big for me at this point in my life.

My Mojave is a completely different animal and I enjoy every minute behind the wheel!

I miss my 19 Laramie I traded for my Mojave. It was loaded. A hell of a truck man.
