Anyone else have a sun visor issue?

It’s a shame on a 50k vehicle that the visors break. Has anyone used the kit from brp auto designs?

I’m probably going to order a set. I never use my visors. Today I went to use driver one and it fell right out.

Broke Left and RIght so far, bought the repair parts this weekend. Dealer only charges 28.0 for whole ene visor but it will break too.

I’ve had both sides break and replaced while in warranty. Crappy design.

Less than a year old and 12,000 miles and both broke. I bought the plastic supports on ebay.

No issues, 24k miles and 15 months use.

When you remove the broken visor you’ll see the metal rod is only held in by a plastic collar, which easily breaks. The metal collar replaces the plastic collar and provides a solid piece that the metal rod can hang from.

This is the fix I prepared for, get to it this week. Push washer and lock collar,m 5/16 or 8mm. Got to have a darn good hardware store for the lock collars.
