This wait is killing me. Chapman said 2 weeks for the part to come in, which will be Wednesday...I haven't heard a peep from them, which makes me worry that it's going to be longer. I had to rent a U-Haul to help my parents move some stuff over the holiday. I have to say that driving that van is without a doubt not as fun as it would have been driving my Jeep...

Still waiting...patiently for now...I may have to drive to Chapman next week and say hi to my Jeep even if I can't drive it off the lot.
I wonder if the pump is backordered or they prioritize factory builds over quick repairs

I have to admit, so many nefarious scenarios have crossed my mind. If the back-order pushes past the timeframe Chapman gave me I’ll be contacting Corporate to voice my displeasure. It’s one thing to ship a defective truck…but then you can’t even fix it. Build me a new one - seems like guys are getting them almost as quickly as the pump may take these days.

Still in D1, been there for about 2.5 weeks. Estimated ship date just slipped from 1/14 to 1/18.

It's all good, I still can't believe I actually have one coming...

Yeah, and Feb would be fine with me. I paid to store my other truck this winter so I'd have a place in the stable for the JT, so I think as long as it shows up early enough for that to have been worth it I'll be happy. I'd really like to play with it some in the snow so I can see what kind of winter mods I might want for next winter.

Well I'm all kinds of confused now...

Jeep Chat says, "dealer ETA is 12/30-1/10" but the dealer is telling me they're seeing 1/10 but that is to the rail yard!? Dealer says it will be another 10 days to get to them so it won't be delivered until 1/20.

Does this make sense to anyone? Why would the delivery date be to the rail yard and not the dealer?

Not enough transports to move vehicles. Just heard of one sitting in the yard completed for 4 weeks waiting on a transport to get it to the dealer. Not enough truck drivers, everyone wants to spend money they don’t have but don’t want to work for it anymore. Were getting to the tilting point where all the free govt cheese in the world won’t matter cause you won’t be able to use it because everyone is lazy.

Everyone who earned their money working and now wants to spend it can’t get anything because the younger generation thinks they deserve everything without working or think they deserve 50.00 an hour with no life experience…. Fun times. The old USA entitlement

I ordered 12/12 and was told itll most likely be 10-15 weeks. Checked in on 12/20 cause I have no patience and was astounded I was being told D1 and possible ship date of 1/8. Been D1 ever since and Im petrified to check in with the dealer again because I dont want to be told the ship dates been moved back a millennium.

Especially with this shutdown mentioned a couple pages back? I wanna enjoy my heated steering wheel while I can damnit :CWL:. Maybe Ill just turn it on in mid spring on a matter of principle.

Politics aside, I am aware of the shipping issues so I understand why my JT that finished being built on Thanksgiving isn't getting delivered until mid-January. The part I don't get is how the delivered eta is excluding the last leg of shipping. It would be like if UPS says my package is delivered when it reaches the local distribution center. Something isn't delivered until it reaches its final destination...

The ol’ “kids these days” sentiment, every generation blames the generation after it for their problems. Please just stick to shaking your fist in your yard at kids passing by instead of posting on here assuming everyone is 60+.

Ordered 10/8, build complete and in storage the week of thanksgiving. Finally got a eta from jeep chat of 12/27-1/4, 12/3-1/6, 12/3-1/13, 1/4-1/13, 1/6-1/13, and now 1/10-1/24. I know of five other people that have been shipped and received to my dealer and and were ordered and built after mine. Ughhhhhhh Let’s go jeep!!! The frustrating thing is I sit here and go on these rants and I’m prob about to sound like a complete hypocrite, but I’m completely fine with getting it late. The issue with me is nothing has been accurate in this whole process. And I’ll say it again from previous posts that jeeps prioritization is just awful. I get it it Covid, trucker shortage, chip shortage blah blah blah. Doesn’t change the fact the jeep should prioritize orders and builds.

@Sarge_Willys any update on your end?
