I've used Costco buying services several times. The deals you get are different based on the vehicle's brand and supply/demand, and you have to go to very specific dealers. And some dealers are unwilling to honor the discounts on certain models, or only offer it on what is on the lot, so experiences will vary. However, when I custom ordered my Grand Cherokee a few years ago, it was a few % below invoice, and there were "cash back" bonuses to be used within the dealership (about $200 if I remember correctly). Super low stress, no negotiation required, and the dealership was happy to order my Jeep no questions asked. 15 minutes max in the dealership. And I spent most of the time sitting in the Vipers they still were selling.Huh. For some reason I thought it was a code that gave you another 1% off invoice. Well never mind then guess I'll leave that alone, no way Costco could get me a better deal than gupton gave me ?
